GPe T-Mobile Galaxy S4 and HD-voice

Hey guys,
I was wondering if any of you GPe S4 users on T-Mobile could tell if you can use HD-voice with this version. If so, is there any way to turn amr-wb codec on, as it is on the regular TW S4 via service mode?
Thanks
I forgot to ask, is the google play edition sold as one variant or are there 2 variants for each carrier?
Were you ever able to figure it out? I'm running danvdk rom 4.4.2 on my tmo galaxy s4 and the hd voice is really bothering me, i want to hear in HD!

I'm running GPe 5.0.1 on a T-Mobile S4, and HD voice is not working. It does work on the same phone and network with the factory ROM. Looking for a way to get it working with GPe. They advertise that HD voice is enabled on this ROM so I'm not sure why it's not working. Any tips are appreciated!!

[Q] Which version is the international version

Which version is the international version of the Galaxy S5, which will probably have better support and faster release of custom ROMS ?
Thanks,
SM-G900F and SM-G900H
It has already been root'ed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2696537
You can also wait for the S5 Google Play Edition which is carrier unlocked and unbranded. The Galaxy S4 Google edition works on AT&T, T-Mobile, and around the world. There’s no contract required, and you can use it on a variety of carriers in the US, and abroad. So, basically, the S5 will work the same.

LTE doesn't work around the world. Only on TMO and ATT US.

Developer Edition and AT&T - The Good and the Bad

I have the Developer Edition with my carrier AT&T.My previous phone was the HCT One M7 Developer Edition
also and everything was perfect on ATT.
The GOOD:
1 - Excellent LTE reception and speed - Blows away the M7 in same house.
The BAD or Problems:
1 - I have Visual Voice mail provisioned and worked great on the M7, went to Google Store
to d/l and it says this version is NOT compatible with your phone and will not let me install.
2 - I have an ISIS nano sim card.. Went to the Google Store
to d/l and it says this version is NOT compatible with your phone and will not let me install.
All other apps work wine. Any others with this problem? I was on the phone with the
Techs from ATT and have a ticket open to resolve these problems.
Everything else about this phone is phenomenal. Waiting on the update to get the Extreme power
mode option.

Hopefully you find a work around with those issues with ATT. Out of curiousity, I'm debating on picking up the dev or the ATT edition on the phone. But other than being unlocked and having a unlocked bootloader is there any other advantages in having a DEV compared to the ATT version? I mean wouldn't it be the same if I picked up a ATT version of the phone and unlocked it, unlocked the bootloader, and S-OFF? Sorry for the newbie question it's just the first time I'm looking into picking up a DEV version and I want to make sure I'm making the right choice. Thanks!!

You will get updates to your phone directly from HTC vs. the AT&T version they sell which updates must go through their slow verification process.
Edit: the developer edition comes with the booterloader unlocked from factory (no need to unlock it!).

Hey cc999, I have a developer edition and I can't download the applications either (thankfully I don't use either!) Could you pull the APKs off of your M7 and try installing them on your M8?
Found working VVM
Not taking credit, found this on the ATT forum. This is the lastest VVM apk.
Just installed it and it works perfectly.

Now all we need is ATT ISIS Wallet APK. Anyone?

Ive been using YouMail visual voicemail. Is the Att one better?
ATT Phone App apk
I wonder if it would be possible to load the Att phone app apk onto the developer edition to utilize the voicemail integration?
I had the att version before I returned it for the dev. Google voice is so much better. The att visual vm lagged. I would like the isis APK.

Just to confirm, there are no issues with LTE with the developer version (on AT&T)? Specifically in NY / NJ area if anyone has it here.
And the other thing, how is the warranty process through HTC? I know for ATT branded phones, you can go to one of their service centers and get it exchanged right away.
The warranty process is why I might get the ATT version instead.
Edit: I'm checking the specs on the HTC website. But what model is the developer edition listed as? Would it be "TMUS?" If so, it's missing bands compared to AT&T version.
I have had the Dev Edition on AT&T since Monday everything is fine. Actually have really good signal. I would say a hair better than M7. Radio switches smoother than ever freaking love this damn phone

Using the developer edition on AT&T. No LTE issues, although my area is just on the boarder of the nearest LTE market so I'm not on it a lot.
Also, The "TMUS" is referring to the soon-to-be released T-Mobile edition.

S4 i9505 ISSUES

I have an old verizon s4 i9505 phone. Believe its up to date but its on lollipop. I am letting my son use it to play games and I can't get pokemon go to work on it. Also any advice on apps to hide root?
The phone came from Verizon in the USA? I ask because Verizon USA phones are CDMA.
You may use magisk to hide rootI did that on RR N ,remember saw somebody have tested it on LP
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 using XDA Labs
Yes USA phone. What is CDMA.
I was told I could get magisk on google play store but couldn't find it on google play store.
CDMA: Code Division Multiple Access. One of two network types in the US; GSM is the other. Generally cannot be used outside of the US due to lack of support by carriers.
Magisk was pulled from the Play Store. Get it on XDA.
