I try to repair with original firmware update, but it is the same.

What firmware were you running before? MH8? I also used TWRP and root and I started having problems after this...
I'm having similar issues with my phone, see my post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2465670

Download any custom rom here and save it on your extcard. Then flash this via odin (PDA Section), http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/GalaxyS4/GT-i9505/recovery/CWM/i9505-cwm-recovery-6.0.3.2-4.tar
Tick Auto Reboot.
Go to recovery then flash the downloaded custom rom. Do not forget to do a full wipe.
Just try it. Hope it works.

[Q] soft brick help

im kinda new to the whole rooting/rom thing, i rooted my s4 successfully, but when i went to install the rom i thought it was on my usb retardedly, so i wiped my phone, hooked up the usb, and it wasnt there. it said my phone was unrooted and asked me if i wanted to instal s2 to root it i hit yes, and now the phone wont boot up past samsung galaxy s4 home screen. i was using TWRP but it wont even open ... help me please im freakin out, prolly broke my phone i just bought it a week ago.
edit: okay so after trying like 15x twrp finally opened up. i put the backup i made onto my pc. do i just load it onto my usb, hook it up and go twrp > restore > usb-otg and restore it?
edit2: i go to restore but it shows nothing in my usb.
im freaking out again help please >.< do i need a file to install/where can i get it to get back to stock?
Download Odin and a rom in .tar format. Hold the volume down and power button to go into download mode. Then connect to usb and see the com port pop up, then select the pda tab and browse to the tar file. Then flash that. It will install stock firmware and recovery or rooted firmware and custom recovery based on what tar file you download.
If that sounds like too much to take in, and I suck at writing this kind of stuff up, do a YouTube search for sprint s4 unbrick/unroot and it should show all the steps.

Yea you should return to Stock Firmware. It should solve your issue.
Always, read and double check, even triple check before you mess with your phone. You should be alright if you follow previous post instructions.

Here the MF9 tar stock you can odin it to go back to full stock if you want to start from fresh

Firstly b calm.
Panicking wont help.jst do as the op said. Flashing ur way thru odin.
Before that do double check the version dat it support ur device.pay attention to this.n do calmly.
N the more u try more r d chances of getting thru the prob.
Do search for s4 backup n restore it.
Or repair via kies.
Keep posted
Good luck.
Hit thanks if I helped u..

No not with pit file..it'll go even more deeper...don't mess with that..
Just simply flash the stock rom JB. which i guess u were using n flash it via odin.
it'll solve the bootloop...
:highfive:
N only flash stock rom for ur device model...
post the results and post the screenshots if u can would be helpful..
Do I flash kernel or is it inside the tar file?

The kernel is already inside the tar file that is inside the zip, the kernel is just there if you need stock MF9 kernel. If you can go back to stock with odin theres no need for kies.

[Q] Full Unroot

first of all sorry for my english im not native english
Hi after few search on both google and xda forum im a bit lost.
I have currently and s4 from Bell (sgh-i337m version) and i flash few custom rom and now i trying to get back to factory default.
and i mean for warrenty check.
- i have used lasted bell i337m firmware from sammobile and flashed it with odin
- Did a ch-autoroot for jfltecan from chainfire to root it
- Downloaded triangleway app to reset flash counter
but when i run triangle away app from app store it reboot to download mode instead of recovery as it should do.
so when i reboot the phone manualy it but in recovery with triangle away splash screen saying no triangle away reset data.
i press volume up anyway and it say reset sucessfull.
then i reboot and use full unroot from superSU and i use phone factory reset but phome still say from menu - status: Device status: Custom
Any idea of this ?
Used to own a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for 5 month and did this procedure lot of time (like 30 time) and it alway worked like a charm but doesnt work now
I'm not sure triangle away works on this device... Lemme do some research.

yes just fresh downloaded from play store
Once triangle away sends you into download mode you have to hold the power button for 10 full seconds. Are you doing that?

im getting scared here, i tried that and it failed, right now im trying to do a firmware recovery in kies 3 to see if it will work so lets pray....
got it to work via kies
i have the same problem. can not root, it stuck, can not install ofiicial rom it stuck too but installing cwm with odin allows phone to open and work

Soft brick N9005 please help me recover

Sorry if the question has previously been answered.
I have N9005 and tried to flash a ROM.
I have tried to flash using Odin on my PC, as I have previously used this successfully.
On this occasion it failed after partially flashing.
I have tried kies and kies3 both without success.
I suspect the solution may be simple but I am new to Samsung Odin kies etc.
edit fixed with help
I am familiar with adb and fastboot commands if these are useful.
Grateful for any help to recover a working phone, don't mind if I have to wipe phone data

Plug into KIES and do an emergency firmware recovery.
Or if you can get into download mode, fly over to djembay's thread and grab one of his images and flash via odin.

Thanks for your reply
I tried Kies emergency firmware recovery without any sucess.
I will try Odin with the stock rom you suggest.
Can I select any ROm from djembay's thread ?
the one I have tried is N9005XXUDMJ7-PRE-ROOTED-KNOX-FREE-ODEX-BL-FREE, is this ok
What firmware are you on currently? Do you know? Bootloader etc? - is your KNOX already tripped? -- the ROM from that thread WILL trip it just so you are aware.

But yes if you are happy with the firmware being MJ7 and KNOX being tripped then you should be OK to try it.
