Highly doubt it would, since most Samsung stock apps rely on touchwiz framework.

It does install and run except it doesn't operate the HTC ir output

By "dots" do you mean individual pixels, or screen burn in?

Protip: don't bump your own thread literally hours after you post...
Not sure what you mean by "tweaks" but your screen is your screen, can't really improve that via software

Did u try clearing data, clear cache , force stop etc and re launch app
