IMEI Change for HTC Leo, HTC HD2

I need to change my IMEI#. Is there a way for performing this issue.

It is not allowed

Changing your IMEI is illegal in most countries. I doubt you'll get any advice here.
Why would you need to change the IMEI unless you are using a stolen phone?

Truthfully I know that it is illegal but I can explain my conditions
I live in Turkey, according to laws of my country; if you buy a phone during your visit in foreign countries you should register it when you come back using your passport. You can register only one device in your passport.
A friend of mine has visited taiwan and bought two HD2. one for me and one for himself. He registered his phone after he has arrived. Because I didn't go with him I couldn't register my phone. Thats why I need this process...

Nah, he lives in Turkey not The 'States

the OP is correct though if you want to use your phone in turkey for more than 1 or 2 months I think it is, you have to register it. Otherwise the phone is blocked from the networks there.
However as well as being illegal to change the IMEI, its also pointless as a device database is now used and if the IMEI does not match the device at registration then it will be confiscated and worse you could get a jail sentence (and anyone who helped you).

I have the same problem. U can register it in Aksaray about 50-60 tl ( Diyolar ama bende bulamadım su an sorunlu bu iş nolcak bakalım )

I bet these regulations will come to general Europe asap.
Any rule that breaks down your freedom is always worldwide adopted.
And, the USA isn't a police state yet, it will be soon, however, Europe is FAR more
a police state then the USA.
But USA is getting up to speed breaking down civil rights.

hello ive tried 5 times on the uk to activate htc hd2
they ask name
device htchd7 of course
but then at the end they say we need your imei number so
we can give you a code what should i do any ideas

Just give them your IMEI number.

Dont give them your IMIE. When they check it, and it turns out to be your HD2. They will then get your mobile blocked.

Please explain how you have proof of this, or stop posting it.
NO-ONE has had a phone blocked. You're just spreading a rumour that someone (probably you) made up.

Add +1 to your imei. give them the imei of an old phone.

As someone reported he providet his real imei and they told him its not valid... maby thats a problem from now on.

Its just a single post, but it seems like they at least check if its a real HD7. Im not if there is a list of each produced HD7 imei or if its possible to generate HD7 imei´s for that purpose

Cheers mate. I'm quite happy cos that's totally the opposite of what numpty was saying earlier about blocking people's phones after taking their IMEI number. LOL
So fair enough, they obviously have a way of checking if an IMEI number is valid somehow. That'll obviously stop them giving out activation codes to people that don't have a valid phone.
I guess it's just luck of the draw then, cos they didn't even ask me for one.

I gave my imei they can only block services to live they would need to get the carrier to block the phone but they can not do that as they have no idea who supplies my phone services

Hey all, I phoned up the UK support line yesterday, was patched through to the Windows Phone section (odd that you're put through to US support ) and the very nice woman on the other end asked for my full name, phone number, make and model, mobile operator, email address and my IMEI. I gave her everything. She then put me on hold for a few minutes, before confirming my details and reading my code out to me. All in all it took about 5 mins, including being on hold. My phone is still working, I haven't been blocked, or blacklisted, or lost my house, my car or my friends and relatives.
Ignore the misers and just give them your IMEI number.
P.S. - I told them I had the HD7 and gave them O2 as the mobile operator (as they are the only ones who stock it in the UK) - I then said I bought it through ebay and that I was using it on the Vodafone network. They could have checked all this using my IMEI number, so quite clearly they don't give a damn about it.

yes i believe you but im researching some peoples tells me that is possible...
i talking about nexus s 4g sprint version
it should be same procedure as EVO 4G change PRL info and passwords ind it should work... now im just discovering

I do, but PRL is only 1/10th of the problem. and the EVO 4G is completely different and the memory address on that would be a different location on this phone.

I obviously posted my number for a reason, I have an android device, with the ability to block numbers from texting me.
I've been here long enough to know what threads get trolled, and which do not.

I'm trying to do the same thing except I'm trying to switch to straight talk and I have a sph-d720. I need to know if there's a certain sim card I need to get from straight talk?

I've flashed one to Page Plus (a prepaid network that uses Verizon), and it works fine.

I initially had an issue getting it to activate because the esn was incorrectly printed under the battery, but customer support recommended I try the esn number in the status menu, which worked. Other than that, it wasn't all too difficult if you are comfortable modifying your phone.

You would probably be happy with a used gsm nexus s and prepaid TMobile

At XDA it is not warmly welcomed to sort out your problem how to restore the functionality of the stolen phone for you.
however, if I can provide you with the advice, go to the thief and ask him.

Changing the IMEI is illegal in most countries and as such we do not allow discussion of this on XDA.

Hello Everyone. I want to hack whats app account of my friend so i want to see what all text he sends and receive therefore i want to run same whats app number on two devices.
One he is using and one i will install in my phone.
My phone is Note 3 Non Rooted.
I have tried spoofing mac address but it shows that " either mac address is duplicate or garbage"
Please help or any other method to do this.

Using it on your friends account does not make it legal. I'm surprised you have any friends at all if you're trying to hack their accounts.
