Hey guys, I've been looking forwards to the Nexus 10 ever since it was announced and I've recently ordered the 32GB model, should be here before Christmas. I've always been a huge fan of CM10 on other devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S2 and was wondering if there was a planned release for CM10 for the Nexus 10? Or any other major ROMs similar to CM10?

After getting an update for my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 the other day that finally gave me mirroring to chromecast support... I thought I would pull out my Nexus 7 (2012) and get it updated assuming it would be supported as well.
Upgrading my 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 was pretty painless but when I got the new chromecast app with the correct version, it didn't have the option.
Looking at the google announcement page, I see that the listed supported devices does not include the Nexus 7 2012, only the Nexus 7 2013 models....
Nexus 4
Nexus 5
Nexus 7 (2013)
Nexus 10
Samsung Galaxy S4
Samsung Galaxy S4 (Google Play Edition)
Samsung Galaxy S5
Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Samsung Galaxy Note 10
HTC One M7
HTC One M7 (Google Play Edition)
LG G3
LG G2
LG G Pro 2
Argh...
The whole point of getting this tablet originally was for mirroring... and to find it still can't.
Not really using a tablet enough to really justify buying another that is supported, I will most likely just leave it along.
I do have the support with my Note 3 phone though and it works very well.
TO MAKE IT WORK:
Go to the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/har...experimental-enable-mirroring-device-t2812193 and give that a try. That made it work.

I test it and same result for me, worked well but no sound. I think we'll have to wait for an update.

I've restart my Nexus 7 (2012), and it work with sound now. But i don't make any change.
Got a chance to try this again and sound is working. Might have needed to reboot the tablet though I am pretty sure I tried that first.
