MAGLDR1.12
WP7 in NAND
Android in SD card (SD ROM:MDJ FroYo Revolution V1.7 S7.1)
Wifi does not work, because this SD ROM is built before MAGLDR.
Is there solution to fix this bug of this SD ROM?
Or is there method to transform NAND ROM to SD ROM? ( I have download NAND ROM: MDJ FroYo Revolution v2.3 (10 JAN))
I have used other SD ROM for several days, which is after MAGLDR and has good wifi. But, I find that MDJ FroYo Revolution is still my favorite.
Please help me!
Waiting for reply,thx
This problem is nothing to do with Magldr - it's the build that you are using. Firstly, check the thread from where you downloaded it and see if anyone else is having the problem. They most likely are, so there's a very good chance that your problem has been raised and resolved in there.
If not, try asking in there - maybe someone will have experience with that particular build and be able to advise you.
If all else fails then you will probably just have to accept that you can't use wifi in that build (for whatever reason), and get another one. At least you know from experience at least 1 other build that does work for you.
Good luck mate

I use Cyanogen mod 7 and it is perfect , but led issue remains ...
For me the same Mdj 46
ok but i've tested Cyanogen Mod7 and the rom just freezes in the homescreen without any touch respons....I like the Cyanogen Mod rom cause its fast..
I've gotten practically every SD android build to work perfectly for me while dualbooting wp7. You do realize you have to edit the init.rc file in most builds to make it compatible with magldr, right? There's a thread on it in the SD android section. If there's any specific build you want that you can't get working, pm me and I'll see if I have it work. I've gotten 12 out of 13 builds I've tried to work great.

I tried it with SuperRam and after welcome wizard, it shows black screen. I reset multiple times and it never loads again, just shows black screen after HTC logo. I'd prefer to use ram rom to save wear and tear on the sd card, so is there a step I am missing?
There's a newinitrd.gz that I deleted when I put the edited initrd.gz file in Android folder. Should I keep that in there? I have HSPL 2.08 and 2.14 radio.
Hi,
I have flashed my HD2 to run Andriod 2.2 but looking to update it with NexusHD2-Gingerbread_V2.7_NAND_(Android-2.3.4)_update.zip
I take it this runs from the SD card and not the ROM?
Also will this work on a UK HD2?
Regards
no that rom runs from the nand NOT SD card, yes it will work on a uk hd2
shuld be all the information you need in the actual rom developers thread for the rom

the rom you use is very old....
i think its time to change your rom !!
if you want a cyanogenmod rom :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1166948
if you want a sense rom :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1326217
after flashing the sense rom, flash this kernel
http://www.multiupload.com/YAKT4UI92D
both the above roms are best in their class (according to me)
i my self use the dorimanx 3.0 rom !!
!!
regards......
Yes, it is probably the best if try something new.
Install new rom and before you do that make an SD ext partition. With that you gonna have more free internal space for installing apps. After that you can also move them to the SD card (if they can work from there of course) ...
Thats my advice ...
And 1 more thing - if you decide do change the kernel make sure that this kernel gonna work with the rom .... some kernels can't work with not sense roms for example ...
As already announced the ROM you are using is very old. Since your decision was to pick up a ROM which is very close to stock I suggest using tytungs ROMs. You can try his NexusHD2-Gingerbread V3.2a. To get more space for installing apps search for app2sd+...
and please next time use a subject in your thread ...
3. Post only using a clear subject and message.
You're most likely to receive a helpful answer to your question if you use a short subject title that describes your problem and a message that explains in detail what your problem is and what you've tried to solve it.

those 2.3.xx version are very mush stable nowadays, if you have magldr you can try out the SD ROM version first & see what fits your needs
