Creeds rom

i have installed creeds rom v3.5 and i want to know that how to edit kernel of creeds rom becoz i want to remove boot logo which appeares before boot animation . please can you do needfull

Creed dont have its own kernel

U mean samsung galaxy y logo right u must edit the kernel inside ramdisk I see maroc has param.lfs to activating custom boot logo

i think you are refering to the splash screen the one with the galaxy y logo,
trust me,
if that logo does not appear then your phone is damaged

But different kernels in my Sony Xperia phone have different kernel logo
Don't different custom kernels have different boot logo??

USSR V8 help!

do i have to install the previous versions of USSR ROM? or just install the latest version? and by the way when i flash the USSR v8 my wallpaper is the default wallpaper for stock ROM why is that? it's my first time to use this ROM so please i need help. thanks a lot..
i'm new here ^_^ thanks to all developers here who is working hard ^_^

after flashing the rom u must go to recovery,than make wipe data/reset and wipe cache,after reboot the problem is solved.
the best is to flash a fresh stockrom with odin before flash ussr v8(i think its better for all custom rom flashs),after this flash ussr v8,go to rec,wipe.......blabla...make this and ur a good to go.

U can flash USSRv8 directly from stock and wallpapers can change bcoz of CSC

why i can't use the keyboard or the 3x4 keypad on script manager? i can't use the enter button, and the USSRv8 don't have the swype. please help..
or does the USSRv8 ROM don't need to be supercharge?

Simply restart your phone.. if problem persists do data and cache wipe in recovery mode..

[Q] [BOOTANIMATION] Why do I get a black screen on trying out custom bootanimation???

HEY DEVS,THEMERS AND OTHERS
I was trying out the peep is in apple boot animation(the one made by sir evanlocked).
But I got a black screen
I had set the right permissions.
Please help.
(NOT TRIED su & bootanimation)
On stock Rom.

You set these permissions right? And yeah should rename the bootanimation file to 'bootanimation.zip'.

ROM? cyanogenmod and evo don't support bootanimation

I think there's a zip to enable custom boot animations. That's how i enabled mine.

Yeah, but cm doesnt support it since the libs, and in evo, bootanimation has been disabled through build.prop
And the zip file you talking about is by deathnotice, look in his thread

This zip will enable boot animation in any 2.3.6 deodex rom
flash in cwm with system mounted
credit deathnotice

I think u have odexed rom then...
There is no bad choises. Only bad results.

Why cant we install apps from a custom rom to our stock rom ?
apps like dialer
system ui
jobmanager
even if the custom rom is running on same kernel?
What is best way to customise any app?

The stock rom is odexed .To use custom roms apps in stock you need to deodex it.Themes only work on deodex.

The files need to be signed again.
Then they will work

i will now deodex my stock rom using kitchen
then i will sign required apk in kitchen
then i will place the apps to my deodexed stock rom and then i will build it
So Will it Work
please tell me if i am wrong somewhere
