So I was half asleep and updated my Cyanogenmod from 10.1 to 10.2 and now my bootloader is stuck in a loop and I can't get into recovery mode.
I am able to get into download mode.
I'd really just prefer to go back to 10.1 at this point...
What am I to do?
Odin stock MF9, with your computer.

Hi,
I just flashed the CM 10.1 Nightlies on my AT&T Galaxy S4 and I am booting it for the first time. The boot is stuck in the boot loop for nearly 30 mins now. I have made a backup of the original image. Any idea how to restore it back?
Thanks,
Jeetu
Should be simple. Boot into recovery by holding power until shut down, then home+volume up when booting up. Then your recovery will have restore options. I use TWRP and all I do is click respire then the latest recovery image and swipe to restore. I haven't used CWM in a while but it's pretty much the same thing.

then my device stuck at samsung logo
i waited 10 minutes then pulled the battery
but here the surprise that the power button dont work ever even when try to open recovery mode
its only work when open download mode
and from there i can reboot and turn on the device.
i tried to install recovery again but when boot it stuck at black screen
please help :crying:
When I have bricked a device I either use a computer and adb. You could also use a rootkit . Which is just a graphical adb interface. The idea being - return to stock. If you get there with root and custom recovery - back up. You can then start again with what you are trying to do. I know with the Nexus 6p the Nexus root software saved me.

Then flash your stock rom via odin.
If the phone gets stuck again after flashing a stock ROM, boot into stock recovery and perform a factory wipe.
thanks guys it worked after flashing firmware throght odin
I had de-rooted my Tab 4 and was attempting to reflash root but it did not work and now I can't go into recovery or flash mode. It just stays on Tab 4 logo stuck if I try to go in recovery otherwise it starts fine. Can I flash or somehow go into recovery another way?

Hi, My Note 4 SM-N910G is stuck at bootloop. I'm not able to go into recovery mode, just download mode. Below are the things I have already tried:
Flashed twrp/cwm recovery
Flashed compatible rom using odin
Flashed using Samsung emergency mode
Flashed everything including pit using odin
Tried changing data cable/port and even odin version
I always get success status with odin but still not able to boot it up or enter recovery mode. Please suggest what can be done. Thanks in advance.
Do you have twrp? Can you boot unti it?

Thank you for your reply. I'm only able to access download mode. When I try to enter recovery mode, it says "recovery booting" and then bootloop.
