So i had my phone rooted and today i thought id add a custom recovery and rom. i installed recovery according to instructions and then did a data wipe at that point TWRP locked up.. same after a second try.. then i though id install the rom.. that locked up too.. now i cant get into recovery nor can i boot up... im stuck at lg logo.. this is a vzw g2. please help
Just try to flash another recovery and its should be ok then.
You can't do anything but use the attached file. Run this its the :G Mobile support tool. Then run recovery and it will download your firmware and flash it again. It will get you out of the softbrick if all else has failed.

I have the LG G2 D802 (international)
I wanted to backup my whole system just in case something would go wrong. So I installed cwm and when I booted my phone in recovery mode it was giving me a 'secure boot error'. But I accidently made a backup with the cwm error (I thought it was still the original recovery but it wasn't) then iI installed twrp 2.7 for lg g2 and that worked just great =). I made my backup. But then there was an software update from android (not google play) so I clicked on the 'install update notification' and my phone turned of and back on. but it booted in twrp instead of the original recovery (duh!) I looked it up on internet and found a command line I had to fill in in the twrp menu (something with 'dd if=/' etc). that fixed the problem but still the update wasn't installed. So I installed my old recovery back (the backup I made but what wasn't the original recovery. I installed the cwm 'secure boot error" recovery back). After I click again on the 'install update notification' my phone went in a bootloop with the 'secure boot error' I fuxed that problem now through this xda thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
But now my phone is stuck in fastboot mode, I tried these solutions but none of them helped...
http://uncle-yakuza.jouwweb.nl/lg-g2-fast-boot-menu-fix
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2477595
After all the fastboot commands are done an they all said 'OKAY' I rebooted my phone and in still booted in fastboot. \
Thats the whole story, and I again don't know what to do....
i have lg g2 d802, i have installed TWRP and when im updating KK via OTA it backs to twrp.
and im try this code in the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696

then i have enter download mode and want to flash KDZ,
when im running KDZ, my computer says cannt detected and in my G2 screen is firm ware update
please help me :crying::crying:
You can't take an OTA w/ a third party recovery like TWRP or PhilZ CWM Touch installed. If you can't flash the *.kdz or *.tot file from download mode, then you'll need to revert to this method...
[FIX] NO Recovery mode, No download mode, after OTA on rooted LG G2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
If you can get into recovery, then you can just flash another ROM or restore a nandroid. If you don't have a ROM on the internal SD, then you can use ADB to push a ROM to the SD while in recovery.
i can enter TWRP, and i can enter factory reset. then what should i do?i dont have a rom in my internal storage
i can enter download mode and i can enter TWRP. but i dont understand... sorryy im totally newbie.
thanks for your help btw
Flash back to stock and don't touch anything. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
All you need to do is SEARCH and you will find what you have to do in order to get the phone to boot up again.

when flashing KDZ, my computer doesnt detect my LG G2 and cant continue..
and now just stuck in logo lg with blinking LED
Hi,
First of all i committed a mistake of thinking that with TWRP aboot + stock Recovery i will be able to do OTA upgrade, which made my phone not booting, undetectable by computer and majorly not getting the LG Flash download mode by pressing any combination of keys., Stucks at LG logo.
Device: LG-G2(F320L)
KDZ stock: F320L21V_00.kdz
1. Flashed this kdz using LG Flash Tool 2014.
2. Flashed from F320L_AutoRec.apk, the images only aboot, and recovery.
3. From DorimanX project generated the boot.img with StockROM(F320L21V_00.kdz) version bootimage RAMDISK.
Everything was fine., till then.
After that, i got the OTA pop up., So, thought of installing OTA. As I had already faced the TWRP bootloop once and in some post i remember i read flashing OTA needs stock recovery image. Here is the place I commited the mistake. So, signed the stock recovery with aboot of TWRP using loki_flash. Accepted OTA. Thats it.
From then, no booting, no recovery, no adb, no fastboot, and unfortunately NO LG DOWNLOAD MODE also it goes.
When i try to go TWRP, it stucks up after the initial TWP message.
And pressing some key combination, the device goes to LG service mode, and showing the IMEI and some list of 3 options in korean which i dont understand. By pressing any of the option device reboots and stucks with LG logo.
Even my device is not shown up in the ubuntu, when i checked "dmesg".
Can anyone help to get the device into Either download mode or fixing the boot.
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum.
Stand by
Good luck
No solution yet?
The phone is still in the same state. Can anyone please suggest the solution to make the device working? Thanks in advance.
Hello guy's,
i have quiet a strange issues with my lg g2
I was on Cloudy flex (Kitkat) with my rooted G2 and wanted to try out the new Lollipop Cloudy ROM.
So i flashed it using TWRP.
It did not work and i Realized that i should have bin on Android 5.0 stock before flashing.
So i went back to 4.4.2 Stock ROM using the LG flash Tool and a kdz file.
Now the Phone is working fine, but there is no way to got to Download or Recovery mode anymore.
I did not expect TWRP to be installed anymore but i don't even have the stock Recovery and much more important no download mode.
Can somebody help me?

i think i bricked it now!
i was able to root the device and i installed Flashify.
Than i flashed laf.img with flashify according to that FIX: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2706590
Now i cant do anything regardless of what i do the LG logo comes up and stays there for ever.
Even when i plug in the USB cable only the LG Logo pops up.
At least i can still see it in device manager but i can not find it in CMD using that instruction:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2477595
Nobody an idea?
Because i ran out of them!
Well you are doing stuff on your own m8.
You will get a secure brick this way.
More info needed..what is your device recognized as ?
Hi,
I'm wondering if you could help me out. I bought a D800 G2 today from the internet. I rooted it and then used autorec to install twrp. I then created a backup and selected reboot to system. It then rebooted to a black screen and Now it will not boot. It just gets stuck on a black screen after the lg logo.
adb is working and I can get into twrp using adb commands. I can also get into download mode....
Thing is I have never had an LG phone before so I do not know how to get it to boot again. I read about two methods- KDZ and TOT but not sure which one I should use.
Thanks for any help
edit--tHANKS @thedoctor13th for the guidance...
Solution was to download custom rom onto a flash drive and use my otg to flash custom rom considering I was able to get into recovery. then update recovery and make a nandroid. phone's working to my knowledge. Haven't inserted a SIM into it yet. Will try that tomorrow.
