[OFF TOPIC] Android Future versions/Android History - Galaxy S III General

As we all know, Android 4.4 will be called Kit Kat, but what do you all think the future versions of Android will be called? I can recall reading somewhere that the 'L' Choice is going to be something to do with Lemon..... Also what version of android did your first android phone have? I had the original android (HTC dream G1 which had Android 1.0 on it , did you know what Android 1.0 and 1.1 were called? Well they didn't really have names, internally 1.0 was called 'astro boy' and 1.1 was called 'bender' after robots, 1.1 was also known as 'petit four' too

A search will tell you this is not possible. Flash is for a different architecture so would need to be compiled for ARMv6 specifically by adobe.
Moved to General as not development and already covered. Please use search feature in future.

[Q] how to find out the root and ROM?

Hi everyone,
Name's Dave and I'm from Indonesia. Found out about XDA through Google and figured it's the best place to learn about Android and my Aria.
I'm very curious about the Android OS and just got myself a rooted AT&T HTC Aria. It's not official yet in my city but I managed to get my hands on it through someone on the internet.
After browsing through many articles in XDA, I found myself deeper in questions. I have performed an HTC factory reset, reason being to get rid of unwanted data from the previous owner. I understand it's still rooted though which is probably a good thing.
Which brings me to these questions:
1. How do I find out what root it is (I just found out here in XDA that there are many different kinds) and whether it's updated?
2. What is ROM and where do I find out what version mine is running?
3. Where do I start to learn about the Android and HTC Aria? I have read many threads here in XDA but they sound only familiar to those with programming background.
I'm pretty obsessive about my gadget and wanna get to know it as much as I can and make full use of it.
Thank you all. I post a screenshot of the About just in case it may help in pointing out the answers to my Aria.

[email protected] #69
Build number
1.25.502.2 CL179042 release-keys

You need android to downgrade. The hd2 running winmo can't do it. I think he wants somebody to port it to the android hd2.
Maybe this will help?
http://psfreedom.com/wiki/HTC_HD2
No pr0x2, that just allows you to jailbreak the PS3 if you have firmware 3.41. This allows you to downgrade the firmware from 3.50 to 3.41.
Really good for anyone who has upgraded their firmware either by accident or had no choice as the upgrade was mandatory and didn't give you that choice.
its been done

As much as I want this on the hd2, I just went ahead and ordered a e3 card reader for 15 shipped. I hated how I needed to boot into the patched android version everytime I wanted to play. Either way I hope it gets ported.

Ok so you guys are using Android as a tool to downgrade the firmware on a Playstation3?
Yes, if you are on v3.5 you can now download to v3.41. You however need to do it by using specific type of usb dongle sticks. Or by hopefully having some one port the code to an android built. Use google for more info...

Is no one afraid for getting banned in the future by sony?
if so, alot of us here would be banned for the amount of things we do especially, Microsoft, HTC, Samsung, Application Developers, Google, Apple, LG, etc...
Adding Sony to the list issnt that hard, especially Sony Erikson phones get "xda'ed" too
hmmmm.....interesting

Deodexing Android 4.3 ??

hi guys, as we know with android 4.3 the API level is now 18
but our lovely Android Kitchen only supports till API 17,
can Android Kitchen de-odex the 4.3 Roms COMPLETELY ??
thanks as always
ill answer your question this time but honestly you shouldve tried before asking this is not the place for asking, if you had tried and failed then its a different story.
Answer - Yes. Just make Java is updated, and if the email app doesn't deodex its because you have to set its api level (in kitchen) to 16.
