Hello guys... I've been searching for it, but I couldn't find.
I'm trying to install cm using the cwm that I found here and it gives me status 7 error every time, while using twrp it installs successfully. So I think it is a cwm version problem.
Could u guys point me the latest one?
It is for i9505 device
Thanks in advance.

For some reason, I am unable to flash cyanogenmod based roms.. I am using a T-Mobile S4 Unlocked. I am using the latest CWM. I have attached a picture of the errors. Any ideas? I haven't tried anything because I am even sure what direction to go in.. I have installed CM roms before.. Right now I have the Google Edition 4.2.2 Rom from Jamal installed.
You need to update your recovery to CWM 6.0.3.3

Hello, I'm running twrp 2.6.3 and can't seem to flash to any 4.4 ROMs. I've tried cm11 and rastakat. It says failed after attempting to flash and says something about the binaries not updating. Is this solved simply by switching twrp versions and if so what would be the best way to do this? Thanks for any help

update your twrp to the latest
Gotcha. If I'm going to do that, I might as well use goo correct?

Dear All,
I desperate need of help here. Sorry if I may sound Noob on this topic. I have international LG G2 (D802) - Rooted with custom recovery TWRP.
I'm not able install some custom roms based on Android 4.4.+ with error msg stating....
1. Error executing updater binary in zip
2. Status 7 . installation abort.
I did google on this subject and tried every single method from editing the binary file upto switching over the recovery (from TWRP to CWM) but still the problem exist
My guess is...... it may occur due to unlocked bootloader............. I don't know the status of my bootloader.......... just need help in unlocking the bootloader....
Just use search and not only google...
Flashing Philz recovery should help.
Aand you can not unlock the bootloader of a g2 btw.

I used to and still have the status 7 error often in galaxy s 2 and what u do is unpack rom and open update script in notepad ++ and remove the first 3 lines where it describes about get prop make sure to place the cursor on the start of first line and hold delete until the first 3 lines are removed and 4th lime sits in 1st line exactly without any further changes save it and repack it as it was before and try if it helps.

Yeah it's a good download, this always happens when I'm trying to flash a jellybean ROM can it be because I'm on mk2?

Go to Philz thread for your phone.. In the FAQ he tells us how to get past that. It has to do with the updater script and alls you have to do is uncheck the option in recovery that says something like... Use old updater script... Something to that effect. Again read his FAQ and you'll see what I'm talking about.
I had the same thing happening with my phone just a few days ago and that fixes it.
