They represent the LG G2 on two different service providers -- D801 is T-Mobile, for example.

ok all clear! Thank you

How can we know if it's 16GB or 32GB ?
Let's say... both on sealed box...
I think, D801 = 32GB
D802 = 16GB !
Someone can confirm that ?

No my friend. I have an D802 with 32GB.
The last numbers only differentiate between the supported networks.
T-Mobile - D801
GSM 850/900/1800/1900
UMTS 850/1700/1900/2100
LTE 1900(2)/1700(4)/700(17)
Global version - D802
GSM 850/900/1800/1900
UMTS 850/900/1900/2100
LTE 800/900/1800/2100/2600

And what about the VS980? Which one is the best one?

[Q] TMOUS G2 in Bangalore?

Hi,
I'm taking my fully unlocked, rooted USA T-Mobile G2 running CM7 to Bangalore next week. I'm wondering what sort of prepaid SIM I can get that will give me voice+data? Is there a compatible carrier in Karnataka for 3G or 4G data?
Thanks for any advice.
AirTel,Vodafone and Idea they all support 3G in Bangalore, so don't worry

Go with D802. No lock or whatever.
If i go with locked mobile the price is very much low when compared to the unlocked phones. In my country LTE is in developing so i don't want LTE.
so i think Verizon - VS980 mobile work with indian 2G and 3G.

If you have already decided why do you ask...
I got my 802 unlocked. Price: 580 but I had to sign up for a 6 month subscription.
D802 of course because is the international unlocked version and all developers working on that plus i m an owner so go for it,you will no regret it !
How cheap is the US version? The India 16gig version is for $570. You get the added advantage of warranty and an unlocked phone.

Get the phone that has the right radio bands to begin with.
I agree with x714x, you do need to get the one that has the right radios for you. GSM is covered an all versions so you'll get EDGE (2g) and voice service with any version, now the question is, which band does your phone company use for 3g?
Talking about radio bands I bought a D802 thinking the lte will work here in the uk but it does not it don't have band 4 can anyone else confirm this,
It doesn't according to this site http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=5082&c=lg_g2_d802_4g_lte_32gb

G2 F320L LTE band

Im expecting G2 this week and my carrier LTE band is 3 (1800). Does anyone know if F320L will work on this LTE band? I have read quite contrasting posts and according to F320L spec sheet, it doesnt support. However i also read that it can be enabled through service menu. Need advice from F320L users outside Korea. Thanks much!

[Q] Can I unlock LTE in my LG G2 D802 32 GB India.

Hey People.
Is there any way that I can Unlock LTE in My LG G2 which is a 32 Gb model with :-
Android Version 4.4.2,
Kernel:3.4.0.
Build no:KOT49I.D80220d.
Software Version80220d-ESA-XX.
Thanks in Advance.
Yours Gratefully.
Shreyash
There isn't any LTE support for the standard D802 that we get in India. What i mean to say is that the D802 supports
LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600
(Bands 1, 3, 7, 8, 20) - D802
However the LTE currently offered in India is at band 40
2300MHz TD-LTE band
(have a look at this- http://telecomtalk.info/things-you-...ing-a-4g-lte-capable-handset-in-india/116895/)
There is another model now available in India, the LG G2 LTE, (D802T) which supports the LTE band available in India.
Sorry for my earlier unclear reply. Hope this is more clear.

What a strange remark to make. Off course there is LTE capability in the D802. Maybe the provider of OP isn't supporting LTE. Mine does (Vodafone Holland) and i always have a LTE connection.

Yes, the D802 is a LTE capable device, but just lacks the band for LTE in India currently. This may change in the future as more operators introduce LTE in a band supported by our device.
If you still want to see the LTE option in your ROM, you can root your phone and install a custom ROM like Cloudy or Pardus which will let you switch to LTE as well.
How useful that would be , is entirely upto you
