Connectify would need to support choosing a country. It looks like proxifier let you select what country you want.

You can use a proxy!

Remote Desktop on WM6.1

Anyone has a step by step guide on how to use remote desktop to control ur PC from your Titan? I just dont know what to put for all these fields.
for easier setup, use logmein.com, its free and works from the titan. Do it all the time, great for getting around pesky firewalls and complex network setups.
hey I do use logmein.com for work.. How do i use logmein for mobile? Is there a mobile version? or u go in through opera?

This how I use it when connecting to my computer at work.
Computer: IP Address
User Name: Domain\vane0326
Password: xxxxxxx
Domain: Your Company Domain name
For the IP Address I had to go into my company firewall and link my internal ip address to a external ip address. When connecting to your company computer use the external IP address.
There are various ways to do this but this is how I use it.

Be careful about opening the remote desktop port (3389) to all inbound traffic. There are some serious implications for your network security.
LogMeIn is much safer and totally free. It also works with non-static IP addresses. Visit from your computer first and set the program up there, then visit from IE Mobile and set it up on your phone.

change wifi mac address?

Hello.
Is there a way to change the mac address of the wifi network interface of the titan?
I would like to be able to do that so I can use my titan's browser to authenticate to web portals, and then use my wifi voip phone (with the same mac address) to make calls.
Do you mean MAC address or IP address?
The MAC is a hardcoded address of the form xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx, using hex. MAC addresses cannot be changed as each interface has a unique number. The MAC address can be spoofed to match another interface, this is usually an available feature on routers to spoof to the ISP that you are not sharing a connection on your home network.
The IP address can be changed and is of the form xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx using only numbers. The WIFI interface on the titan will be set up for DHCP, ie it requests an address from the wireless source it is connected to. This can be changed to give the IP address required if DHCP is not availabe on the network selected.
I am talking about changing/spoofing the mac address if the network wifi card.
There are a bunch of utilities out there that are able to do so on the fly for windows XP, maybe someone has one for windows mobile?
Or a registry key location that does that?

Using my HD2 as a router?

Hi -
What kind of IP address would I have if I used my Leo as a router? Would it be static or dynamic?
And would other people have used the same IP or would it be my own?
Thanks
you would have whatever ip your mobile provider issues. some give individual ips but most use block ips and nat (address translation) so more than one person can have the same ip.
go to whatismyip.com and have a look. o2 uk address for instance assign addresses that resolve to germany.

What exactly do you want to do? I believe what you're looking for is a DNS Server.
i want to make my IP address digits of my own choice

I think it is impossible because we cannot control IP addresses alocation.
Try to use something like DynDNS or no-ip instead.
The internet works because you are prevented from doing that. Your carrier owns its ip block and assigns an address to you.

It is surely impossible
It's a little bit tough to answer you directly without more info as to what you are trying to achieve.
If you are talking about assigning a static IP address to your phone, on the mobile networks this is not possible AFAIK.
If you are talking about assigning a static IP address to your home WAN, you can talk to your ISP about doing this (they usually charge for it).
Another alternative as someone mentioned is to use a Dynamic IP DNS service, such as No-IP.com
Can you be more specific about your exact goals?
Impossible, as far as I know, you can just ask for IP reassignment which wil give you a new IP adress. Not of your choice however.
As someone said above, you're probably looking for DNS. You can't really change your IP address, but you can alter the last two digits of your IPv4/6. Is this what you're referring to?
You can assign any ip addresses only in private network.
If you have local net, you can assign ip addresses by:
Manually
DNS server zone
DHCP
In the internet you can't assign ip addresses.
