Hi all,
I know very well the phone was only released today, but i was wondering if the same mod that makes the S4 louder in the earphones *somehow works the same way* for the Gnote 3 ?
Maybe the files are also interchangeable ?
Cheers !
Is it an XPosed mod you are talking about? Might not work since the GS4 is 4.2.2 and the GN3 is 4.3 OS, but it might.

Not sure if its the same mod or not but i think yea....can anyone reading this confirm to us ?
I dont understand samsungs decision in making their handsets (let alone flagships) so annoyingly low in volume !!

Anyone ?
On the Note 2 there was a file that you could modify to change volume controls however you will need system read/write access which you will only get via root.
I'm pretty sure the same would be true of the xposed framework working correctly that you will need root.
Other options I have seen would be to use STweaks, yet again this will need a different kernel and root so I'm afraid you will probably have to wait until we have root

Well, I don't know what relation has GravityBox with MediaTek chip.
As allways,
1. Install XposedFramework
2. Run the apk and install the framework under the tag FRAMEWORK
3. Reboot
4. Download GravityBox, that will be under the tag DOWNLOAD and install the apk
5. Activate the Module under the tag MODULES
6. Reboot
7. You will have Gravitybox installed and perfectly working

If you read the description of gravitybox you can read that it was made specifically in mind for mediatek devices in mind.
It gives stock rom some functions from custom roms.
But it's better to flash a custom rom, especially on n4 I think.

There are several custom roms with those features and loads of others.
Take cm for example. On of the best features imho is the ability to move the text cursor with the volume keys.

You can try Nitrous ROM, it's stable with dalvik, don't change it to ART. BTW, Nitrous already have this mod built in.
Can a ODEX version be done? Some of us still prefer Stok Rom for now. Thanks for your contribution.

I reodexed a similar mod.
Just installed Xposed Framework and GravityBox on my Moto X and after a bit of tinkering all I have to say is HOLY [email protected]#$ BYE BYE CM!
Coming from a Galaxy Nexus running CM for years, it all feels like home to me... and no need to give up the Moto X-specific features. All is now right with the world.
yep, all of the neat features CM brings can be replicated with gravity box
my moto x is a mean killing machine now
Did you use the MotoXposed I keep hearing about or the general framework? I've only ever used CM too, I just got this guy and need to get it customized.

From what I have read regarding MotoXposed is just a Module and still requires the Xposed Framework from xposed.info. MotoXposed looks like an alternative to GravityBox [[geared specifically toward the Moto X?]].

MotoXposed gave me many issues on KitKat. I'd stay with GravityBox or any other updated modules.

You don't have to anymore there is an exploit that allows you to have permanent r/w off even with a fxz or fdr with the exception of an ota. You can get your factory recovery back.

I am having a very hard time getting V4A working, the stock version i got running but it doesn't run as well as it should so i am trying to install the beats or other compatible editions... After doing some research it is possible that removing KNOX and installing SElinuxModeChanger will do the trick but i need some help getting this done... Not exactly sure what to delete or freeze in Titanium, and each time i launch SELinux it keeps saying it needs root access (i have root but apparently it wont work without removing KNOX...) running stock but rooted S7 Edge SM-G935F...

Hi, V4A should work without permissive mode. It works on my device. Try to flash this from recovery and give feedback : https://mega.nz/#!B4JxmA7D!r8Kq3YEO--ieMkmOj9W1Hco6NGOJRCGvi9-7TL3-Hw4.

Well, I must say I got DolbyAtmos working. I flashed dap_r6.5.zip after V4A. You can find it in Dolby thread, but if you couldn't find it, I can share it with you. So…
I have N4 910f and ViperAtmosSony edition from @guitardedhero works there beautifully. But it refuses to work on S7E… I know the sony libraries are nice and it would be fantastic to have it working, but for now I can't figure it out. Well then, if you want just dolby till thete will be sony edition moded for S7, you can flash dap_r6.5.zip.

I can confirm this is only a myth, fingerprint scanner works like a charm after root. the only things that wont work after is KNOX, and Samsung Pay and no one uses these features anyway, Samsung Pay is not available or working anywhere as far as i know, there are far more benefits of rooting than leaving it stock. at the end of the day its only a phone we buy to fulfill our consumer needs. so its your choice.

Hi, do you consider changing your ROM? If yes, then go for Kurama v3 6.0.1. All the apps are applied to multiwindow as soon as you're installing them. Good luck!
Thanks for the suggestion, I'm not changing roms though.
