Haha you're a little late. The 8gb was $199 and 16gb was $249. The 8gb went pretty quick.

Slightly late! I grabbed a 16GB one. Ended up with a 5GB model. I think they were running out of memory so they just grabbed what they could and stuck it in mine and i got short shipped. Thankfully they refunded me a little bit when i called and reported it.

I think you mean 8gb model 5gb is how much you actually have usable system takes some.
Like how the 16gb has 12.92gb in total system has taken some.

Thats what i thought too. Total space available, 5.67. Regardless of the ROM i got installed. They seemed to think it was a bit low even for an 8GB model though.

Hmm I'd have said it's about right for the 8gb model.
Glad when I ordered a 16gb model I got the right one. The 8gb would have drove me up the wall.

So they basically did you a favor.
16 is the sweet spot for me keep some albums offline and I'm down to 6gb free now. I also bought it when the price dropped.
And the ROM would never make a difference. Your not changing the partition sizes. For example I'm on purity ROM and have 800mb free in system partition.

6 days isn't that bad for daily steals. I bought my galaxy nexus from them earlier this year and it took easily two to three weeks for it to ship and don't expect to hear anything from them during that time. They aren't known for prompt customer service but if you can deal with that you can get some good deals.

I previously bought a gnex from them & it took about a week for them to ship it & about 3-5 days to get it.
I purchased a nexus 4 from them (I had an existing credit from them, so the price difference from the play store wasn't bad). I am pleased/surprised to say that I got an email saying they have shipped mine. They ship from nj & I am in ny, so I should be getting it tomorrow. Pretty psyched.

Are you pleased with it or do you sometimes regret your decision on getting the nexus 4? One more thing, right now I have the s3 and is no 4g really that much of a dealbreker?
Do a search as this question has been asked quite a few times....but in a nutshell if you prefer vanilla over bloatware, great dev support and the latest updates as soon they are released then get a nexus....can't really speak on the s4. Hope it helps..

Dude the S4 is so crippled and packed with 7GB of OS and mostly bloatware that you have too root it and strip down all the not needed apps and widgets. I had all the Galaxy devices but i`am gona skip the S4. The Nexus 4 is realy a breath of fresh air and 50% cheaper. I had the S3 too but wouldnt trade my N4 for one.

I have the 16Gb for a few dollars more, 8 GB is a bit to small for me personaly. About 3 GB is for the OS so 12,8 GB remains for the user. On the 8GB one you have 4,8 GB left.

Ok. No update to the N4, I just went from the n4 to the ONE. it's not worth the $300 difference.
Tapatalk and some apps other is actually slower. The screen is nicer but the camera might actually be worse. It camera is soft under certain conditions and very poor lens flaring.

Don't see why it wouldn't. Can't test online since they are "discontinued".
I just printed and read it and it says all tablets. No mention of not being allowed on the new n7. It does expire 07/28/13.

I'm using 64 on my note2, I don't see why the note3 wouldn't allowed 64 or even 128 when it comes out. I use paragon to mount it. they always say max 32 on their specs, I don't know why they do this..

I'm putting it in my spare phone (s3) which I'm only going to use at the gym when I get my hands on this beast. I have a Sandisk ultra 64gb I'm going to use for the note 3.

Happened to me long time ago. Bought a 16GB way back in the day when memory was much more pricey and thought I got an amazing deal,....card showed 16GB with 15GB of invisible data on it I formatted it with various file type formats to remove whatever mystery files were on there and ended up with a 1GB card,...
Jokes on me though,..I order 3 of them.
