Samsung Galaxy S 4 ≠ Google Nexus 4 by LG
Click up in the "Type To Find Your Device..." box above and enter "Galaxy S 4" and click the appropriate one that pops up.
BTW, before you start rooting and flashing ROMs, I suggest you really do you homework to prevent ruining you device, posting a question like this in the incorrect device forum doesn't bode well for you...

If you meant a ROM with a touchwiz UI, then I believe there was something called touchwiznexus or so.

It causes a total brick the phone. It is literally useless. Under no circumstances install or flash this kernel.
If you have it installed do not wipe.

No it isn't!
The I9220 is the Chinese Note, which is ostensibly the same hardware as the N7000.
The AT&T Note is the I717.

Dave

You're right. It is stupid to flash kernels from other devices onto your phone. Why don't you go buy an AT&T Note, flash the i9220 kernel on it, and let me know how it all turns out?

How to find out which S4 Version/Branding I do own?

Hi,
I could not find any guides and threads for the following question:
How can S4 users find out which Galaxy S4 Version they do own?
I live in germany and got the Galaxy S4 with a german "Telekom" branding
Does this make my Galaxy a "T-Mobile S4" or because it does not have any sim-lock, a "normal S4"???
Thx in advance!

In the system settings there should be a section called "About phone". (Sorry I can't guide you to that section as the touchwiz menu is a little different than the aosp menu I'm using)
In the about phone section it should tell you the phone model number. It will be m919 or i9505 or something like that. It will not say "t mobile s4"
Post that here and I will tell you which one you have.

You do not have the T Mobile US version.
You have the international version. Its pretty much the same thing. But you do need to know which one you have when flashing stuff.

This isn't true - many phones can be unlocked without calling your provider either with an app some coding changes or via hardware connected to your pc
You might be able to unlock with dokys toolbox

[Q] Rooting and Recovery for I9515 ?

Unfortunately, no dev love for the I9515 so far... we've been discussing this in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2768285

I9505 and I9515 are the same phone but only with some differences. You can flash the same things for the both devices. Take a look: HERE

Joku, that is not quite correct, as we were discussing here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2768285
I was able to root the I9515 with CF-AutoRoot, but pretty much everything else that was designed for the I9505 causes the I9515 touch to stop working... That happened both with custom roms and recoveries.
Is the flashable firmware through odin working fine with our device?
