Is anyone using MightyText (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.texty.sms) on their stock Nexus 4? I have been running it on CM 10.2 but ever since I upgraded to 10.2 (based on AOSP 4.3) messages longer than 160 characters don't get sent properly by the MightyText app on the phone. In fact, they don't even get sent.
So I'm wondering if this is an issue related to CM 10.2 only or it is a 4.3 bug. I would like to provide this info to the developer so they can work on a fix.
Thanks!
Doesn't work for me either, through any pc texting app, not even AirDroid. (Running Odyssey 4.3 Rooted)

Did either of ya'll ever get a response on that issue? I've just encountered it myself on the Droid Razr Maxx running CM 10.2.
I don't have the issue anymore. Newer versions of CM fixed it

Hello XDA,
im having a hard time deciding whether to get the nexus 7 or the Galaxy tab2 7.0. what are your thoughts. How do you like your Nexus 7? Thanks in advance.
Dude the galaxy tab is pretty slow imo, nexus 7 is a better choice

Thanks bro. I played with the tab last night and thought it was pretty fast. Obvious speed difference but nothing major' however I bought the nexus 7 16gb so far so good. I'm loving the speed and smoothness. Only one issue. I accepted the update to 4.1.2 and was wondering if anyone knows a workaround for adobe flash player? As always Thanks again xda!

imo the nexus 7 is way superior in terms of hardware and software, not to mention developer support and google support, being a nexus device
Only thing the Samsung has over the N7 is a rear camera but it has, to me, been done as a precaution as to not look like an idiot.

If you're still running the standard 'out of the box' ROM I presume you're running Chrome? Chrome doesn't support flash.
Try a different browser that supports it. (Sorry I can't post links yet but the old Dolphin HD 8.5.1 does I believe)
Flash also works fine with any alternative ROM (Like Paranoid Android) you care to put on the device - using the ROM's supplied browser

I tried dolphin straight from play store so it must be the updated version. I'll try search for an older version of dolphin or try opera maybe? Thanks for the tip!

The latest dolphin does not support flash.
Either download an older one
Or use the AOSP browser, I find that best for flash support for some reason.
All is good. Rooted via toolkit, then installed aosp stock browser and flash. Thanks all!

It worked great on my GNex, I haven't tried on my N7 since I don't use most of those apps... flash it and find out Just make sure to backup first
EDIT: DON'T do it. Others have reported problems
Dont try it. I did and it cocked everything up on my seven. Force closes everywhere.

I flashed in on the N7 and had major force closes all over the place.
Same here. Don't do it. This is not good for the Nexus 7. Had to run a recovery of system.

Does anyone else have this issue? On cm10 I was able to use it for dead trigger and would connect without issues. I can't do this on cm10.1 . I haven't tried the latest nightlies and would like to know if this has been fixed. Its the only thing holding me back now. Thanks in advance.

Well I'm currently using the latest nightly 12/27 and even the one before that, I've had no problems with it, use the latest nightly it's actually very stable and much smoother tham expected. I use the sixaxis for many games dead trigger being the main one, touch emulation also works fine e.g. Modern Comabt 4 or Nova 3
For some reason every time I try to launch this it crashes works perfectly fine on my HOXL
Been emailing the maker and they are stumped to. I anyone else play? If so any troubles?

Could you grap a logcat as it opens? Then I can see what may be wrong, and you can send it off to the devs

Pretty much anything that's not Chrome. I've always used AOSP on the N10, but I've used Dolphin and One Browser on my Photon. My Photon is also on Gingerbread though, so YMMV.

as a matter of fact you can use the AOSP browser without root, take a look at here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2385933

I've read where you can get flash to work with it also but so far no luck here getting it to work, after flash installs it never shows up as a add on? I haven't rooted my N10 and honestly not sure I'm going to...
