My phone is down when i discharging - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I I bought the phone from google 1 week ago, in the early days works well. But then when I flash franco kernel finds phenomenon if I do not connect with computer or charger, the phone crashes, I tried to flash a different kernel, flash CM.10 still crashes when not charging or connecting to computer. I also tried to flash stock and unroot, but still did not fix the error. I now no longer in the U.S., so I can not warranty equipment.
I think my battery is fine, when i discharging, cpu-z show battery 3940mV, but 3 minutes later the phone hangs, the sreen still on, and it will on until battery down, but no response when touching, push button or connecting computer again.
I really need the help. please

[Q] Weird battery, or phone, problem!

Hello, I had a strange problem with my Defy. I left it charging overnight, and I think that battery charging led was light up as normal. This morning, I pressed the power button, and then phone rebooted suddenly. When booted up it would not connect to the mobile network. Checking the phone's status, battery status and information related to the cellular network were both "unknown" .
I tried to restart it a few times but no improvement, indeed it got even worse.
After a while the phone begam to reboot by itself just seconds after the appearance of the home screen (in the meantime also wallpaper was gone).
I thought it was a battery problem, so I reconnected to the power supply but nothing .. same reboots after a few seconds.
I tried then to reboot into recovery and I flashed again CM10 (Quarx's 20130110) and fortunately the first reboot showed the usual charging of the battery which actually started charging from 0%. I loaded and now seems to work properly.
I had another problems a week ago... the phone didn't charge at all during night, but without reboots like today, but plugging the usb cable either to the power supply or to a computer didn't anything to the phone.
I wonder, it's just a battery problem? Or was it a problem with the rom or even worse the phone?
It would be useful to flash an sbf?
thanks
Problem with Rom I think, flash a previous version or you can flash any sbf. It is not a phone problem

[Q] Bricked?

Hey all.
So I have an s4 that was running safestrap and hyperdrive. It all worked fine and I was having no problems. The phone froze (programs not responding, not a big deal.)
I did a battery pull and then the phone would not turn on again. When I put the battery in, it turns on for about 5 seconds. I managed to get it into recovery and download mode, however it turns off almost as soon as I get there. I checked with a different battery, but nothing.
I would ODIN it and everything would be fine, but it won't stay on long enough for my computer to even recognize it.
Also, I tried leaving the phone on the charger overnight, but it won't charge the battery or show the red LED. I felt for heat to see if it was hot around the usb/charging port but it wasn't.
Any ideas?
I'm sure you tried this, but did you try to use the USB cord to power and not rely on the battery?

[Q] Galaxy S4 I9505 SUPER hot when completely off (& off charge).

Hey all;
Issue 1 : Its almost impossible to turn on.
The times I cannot get it to turn on it also doesn't show that the phone is charging when plugged in (no battery on screen, no led indicator).
If I reinsert battery a few times whilst plugged into a charger it will sometimes work sometimes will not (I've tried multiple batteries on known working charger)
I know when it has worked as the phone vibrates when battery inserted randomly and screen shows the battery charging symbol, then I am able to also turn it on normally.
Issue 2: When charging phone it becomes too hot to touch on the front glass about 1/4 below the earpiece
This is with the phone switched off; with it turned on; same thing but it never gains charge. (fresh ROM flashed, first boot, no connections, sim or wifi)
It also becomes hot when plugged into charger without the battery inserted; assuming strange processor issue?
I tried to charge it from 10%, it reached 35% before I unplugged it as I was concerned the phone would burst into flames; it had become untouchable/almost scalding on the front glass and the battery was absorbing a lot of the heat.
Issue 3: Wifi will not switch on.
Maybe problem with the processor also? although I did not attempt this on a few different stock roms yet.
More details:
So far I've flashed a stock ROM (actually I’ve tried 3 versions so far, two KitKat and one Lollypop); including flashing correct PIT files with each and using NAND erase all just to see if it would help.
I am using Odin 3.09 with good success; I’ve never had a write issue and it behaves itself very well always detecting the phone instantly in boot mode without fail. I've succeeded with all odin flashes of stock roms and booted each one without too much trouble.
The power drain is sufficient that the phone will only stay turned on for a few hours right after a fresh flash (e.g NO user apps; nothing; no sim; no Wi-Fi; NOTHING); after which I have to swap batteries with another (I'm using a working S4 to charge these).
Thanks to all.

Stock X727 stuck in bootloop

Stock .21 firmware. Never tried any other ROMs. Battery went down to 1% last night, charged it on stock charger to 30% then moved it to a different charger. An hour after that I got a call, I hanged up and about 1 hour later I heard the phone buzzing every 30 sec or so, I looked at it and realized it's in bootloop. If I press Vol- and Power I can get it in fastboot and with Vol+ and Power in Recovery. Can't figure out what to do from there though.
Update: Pressed -+ and left it the whole day in that mode. Came home, and it booted up and looked fine for about 3 minutes then it shut down by itself. It seems to me that there's some sort of memory/storage corruption. Any suggestions on how to proceed from here?
Phone booted normally and I was able to use it for about 12 hours. I was doing a Whatsapp backup this morning when it shut down and got into the bootloop again.

If you are using stock, immediately get rid of your usb c cable and buy a new one. There could be an issue with the cable that is causing problems with your battery.
Try to keep the charge percentage between 20% and 80%
Finally, your battery stats may be off. To resolve a battery stats issue you will need to reset the phone. Which again, if you are using stock and have never used a custom rom. You should definitely do a factory reset.
Same issue on 2 different chargers with 2 different cables that used to work well until now. None of the cables are stock. One of the chargers is stock, the other one aftermarket. My wife's S3 doesn't have any issues using the same cables and chargers. Issue seems to be happening when battery is full or almost full. Phone gets into a soft reset bootloop. I let it drain yesterday and was able to get in and do a factory reset. I then added my account and left it installing and updating apps overnight, while connected to the charger. Woke up with the phone off and after pressing power for 12 sec it got into the bootloop again. As you can imagine, it's impossible to keep the battery under 80%. Would it help if I try a custom rom? Maybe a new battery? I'm open to any suggestions as I really like this phone and can't find anything similar at a reasonable price.
So phone still reboots when battery is high. I can however get into Fastboot Mode and Tool All-In-One detects it. Tried to unlock the bootloader in the tool but it failed. I'm willing to try anything to get the phone back up and running but not sure where to start. Would really appreciate some guidance.
It really sounds like the battery is bad. You can buy a new battery for $8 .
If you replace the battery : Do NOT use a hairdryer to remove the screen. You will need a heat gun, they cost 7 dollars at harbor freight.
With a heat gun the lcd screen will practically fall off into your gloved hand.
I was going to offer to connect remotely and help with unlocking the bootloader and installing TWRP, Root and a Rom. But I sincerely believe that you need to get a new battery first.

got bricked without any reason, but shows some sign of life

=============DEVICE DESCRIPTION================
rom=pixel experience A12 rom
recovery=pixel experience's custom recovery.
ram=6GB
processor=snapdragon 600 series (forgot the variant name)
=================Conditions====================
So, i have been using this device for over 4-5 months on this rom as an daily driver, it was working fluently with no issues whatsoever, Mic was a bit glitchy. on an random weekend as usual before going to sleep as the device was on low battery i still remember it being at 6%. i plugged it into an wall outlet to charge and went to sleep. fastforward to the next morning the device is completely dead with no activity on plugging in or out the charger. no vibration or display of any sort, fast forward a week i checked the battery voltage which specified that it was at ~4.0v meaning the battery was charged. which only meant the device was dead.
================RESOLUTIONS==================
So, as the device wasn't turning on fastboot mode would obviously didn't worked. disconnecting and reconnecting the battery didn't worked either. HOWEVER!!, i was able to boot into downlaod/EDL mode using the on board joint on the device and as expected it popped up in device manager meaning it had some life in it, so i went on to use qfil to flash the stock rom but it after flashing the phone never turned on, repeating the step didn't helped. as it went back to it's lifeless state.
now, i want to get this device back to its working state but just can't get it to work. the display probably isn't the fault as there should be an vibration on connecting an charger or rebooting the device.
