mine too....I spent over 16 hours trying to fix it after flashing the kernel until it was totally bricked...so i sent it to samsung repair center... and i hope they won't charge me for exchanging/ fixing it

Too bad, I will be alert to any solution.

The kernel links have been removed, and what happened has happened. Sucks, but it's an inherent part of playing with your phone...I opened up a bounty thread to at least try and put some more focus on finding a solution, because most us have little development knowledge and all we can do is flash, flash, flash...which isn't working for this problem.

These devs didnt think of the consequences and just wanted users to blindly follow them in the " ics adventure " using roms from other phones and still using lidroid in ics.
Thats why i did not follow. illl just wait for the new version to drop this week and build something nice and stable without bricks on that

from your post I cant see any relation to angelom's kernel... are you sure it's related?

New version this week? From samsung? missed your point.
I have CriskeloRomNOTE ICS V1 Beta3 installed too. It works well. I hope everyone will recover their bricked notes.
I had once an issue with a galaxy tab, it didn't boot nor charge or accept anything. I kept trying every possible solution, like plugin it to the power plug, leaving it for hours, as its behavior was somehow different in each scenario (didn't charge connect to the pc but could light on when connected to the plug) I kept trying and after days it finally came up and live again. I had no choice but to try and try as it was not covered any warranty anyway.
Well after that I'm, may be, a bit to confident in the fact that an android phone can be restored anyhow.

True, it seems like a prime excuse for torrents. Much faster than those awful hosting sites - it does of course mean some poor bugger has to seed initially though.
Sounds like stock firmwares are ok, the chainfire release is ok, many of the others and you're playing with fire.

Kinda sad all the bricks that happened or still happening. I think it was from a kernal though not a rom. All the ics roms are fine and require the chainfire repack of the china leak kernal which is fine .

1-Do not flashing kernel 1.2 autoroot of angelom.
2-Do not use touch cmw.

Did you all just flash it because it said ics in the thread. I see no point of installing this in the first place. If you read the many guides to obtain root, this shouldnt have been needed in the first place. Good luck, hopefully samsung can help out.
Ive mentioned it but I guess i say again. Has anyone tried the usb jig yet?

It was supposed to fix rooting issues. At least that's why I flashed the kernel.

I just bought ZTE Blade 3, low-budget smartphone. Successfully rooted with famous ICS method by Bin4ry from this forum. There are no recoveries and roms . My only problem is how to install Adreno 2xx graphic drivers for armv7 device from Qualcomm site? To enter stock recovery I use Volume up+Power and after splash screen press Back button. There are options for upgrading, but after file verification zip didn't install, it's intended for ICS upgrades only. I send e-mail to ZTE but no answer so far. Drivers are Adreno 2xx User-mode Android ICS Graphics Driver (ARMv7)) with name Adreno200-AU_LINUX_ANDROID_ICS_CHOCO_CS.04.00.03.06.001.zip. from developer Qualcomm site, section tools and resorces.
Please help, I assume that must be done with some adb commands but I dont know how...

You cannot download the drivers from the Qualcomm site and expect them to work universally. They have to be individually modded for each device by a developer, then flashed

I don't know about the CWM project for the Blade 3
And yes. Some software like Beats Audio can be flashed universally without Modding

first of all this mobile runs on android 2.3.6 (GB) not (ICS)
i have tried doom lord (zergrush ) , superone click , z4root , unlock root
i have tried some manual commands
all with no use , if any body can help please

it rebooted twice .. and thats a good step .. because all other roots the phone didnt respond at all ...
but when i checked .. the phone was not rooted also

ZTE BLade 2
So, last I bought me a ZTE Blade 2. I am very happy with this phone, and it is my first android phone. I tried to root my phone with a guide on the modaco forums. After trying a few times, it worked perfectly. This was also the first time I rooted a smartphone. Then I wanted to flash a new rom, because someone told me it was a great rom (cm9 or something like that. I googled it and found a rom for the "ZTE Blade 2". I tried to flash the rom, but it failed. Now my homebutton doesn't work anymore and I can't receive phone calls, but I can call other persons.
By googeling what was wrong I found out that the rom was for the ZTE crescent/ San Fransico II. It seems that the Crescent is also reffered as the blade 2 since it is the succesor of the san fransico I. In the beginning I was confused, butr now I know these 2 phones are completely diffrent.
After I found the problem why the rom would not flash, I want searching for a solution. Seems I could repair my ZTE by installing a stock rom. I can't find a stock rom and poeple tell me there is no rom availabe for the Blade 2, not even on the ZTE site itself. I also found that I could repair it by flashing my back up. but while i was formatting my phone in the CWM recovery I also formatted my SD card, so I lost my back up to. Now my question is, can I install someone elses back up file? and if that is possible, would someone who ownes this phone be so kind to give me a back up? If there are other solutions, I would like to know, every idea is welcome!

I don't think it is possible for this device to handle lollipop, but if you wanna try, why not...

I didn't test but should work. But might encounter problem with usb connection to pc.
Non ho testato ma dovrebbe andare. Però potresti incrontrare problemi col collegamento usb.

Do I really have to install another modem? My current (XXUGNH7) is working perfectly in germany with LTE. Was hard to find out.

When N4 system ui and volume is completely fixed

Waking phone from deep sleep is a little laggy. There is 1 second between pressing power button and when lockscreen actually appears.
