My phone continues to randomly reboot on me. I have tried a soft reset, but that did not fix the problem. What button combination allows me to do a hard reset?
The power button + nothing combo. Hoooold.

If you have Jelly bean than you should power off device > power on using power button and vol down > when you see Lg logo let go and press them again
if you have Kit kat than you should power off device > power on using power button and vol down > when you see LG logo let go and press vol down + vol up
vol down + vol up? hmm i press power + vol down again and it works. i have kk ofc

How do I do this? The phone is stuck at the boot animation and i just cannot get it to do anything else, no button combo seems to work, i casnt even get it to power down properly. Never had this much trouble with a phone before.
Hi,
Power OFF your phone then:
HOW TO ENTER RECOVERY
Method 1: Hold the power button + volume down button until the LG image appears. Once it does let go of the buttons then immediately push and hold them again until recovery boots.
NOTE: The method above will arrive at the "hard reset" area, but when choosing hard reset, it will take you to CWM (without actually resetting).

Thank You, what a fiddly process!! Now restoring from backup.
^obviously doesn't understand that you cannot power your phone down properly..
Lg is a little tricky.. But.. In order to hard power down, you must hold the power button until you see the phone power off, but don't let go or it will reboot. Keep holding the power button until you see the lg logo and it will then power down completely.
To get to recovery, hold vol down+power until you see the recovery mode loading. You will see the lg splash screen first but just keeping holding the buttons.. No need to let go and then try pressing them again as the post above me stated...

Are you sure it doesn't actually reset? I'm curious ... because Ive got TWRP and just to avoid that I always reboot into recovery from the rom ... and I've just been scared whenever I see that white screen
Hi,
I have a recovery bootloop and i cant get it into download mode nor can i restart into system.
I have taken the battery out for 24 hours and still when i switch it on it just boot loops in recovery
Please help! What can i do to fix it ?
Take battery out, put it back in but don't press power on.
Instead, press Vol Down + Power + Home buttons all at the same time until something comes up on screen, then press Vol Up, to go to download mode.

It's cuz you're not doing it correctly.
Yes, you're supposed to depress "vol down & power" but once you see LG logo, let go of both buttons and then immediately hold down only the "power" button.
After a few secs, a white factory reset screen will appear. Ignore the warning and press power button. I know, its kinda scary at first, but then phone will load into recovery.
Does'nt function
I have an lg G2 f320k model, and I press two buttons (power and vol-), and depress both when I see lg logo and press only power button again, and after few seconds, lg restarts again (reset). Any convination with power button pressed do the same: reset! please, someone can help F320k owners?

Fully power off phone and try the following one should work:
1)with phone powered off hold volume down+power and when lg logo pops up let go and quickly press again
2)with phone powered off hold volume down+power and when lg logo pops up let go and hold volume down+up don't touch power
This will lead to factory reset menu press power button 2 or three times and phone will boot into custom recovery

according to many reports the hard reset button combination was removed in 20d
Also people say(and I've tried it..works)
1. hold down power + volume down untill the lg logo appears(now usually you would let the buttons go and press them again untill the factory reset menu appears but... look 2.)
2. let the buttons go and pres volume up and volume down and hold them..
