Hey guys quick question, on my galaxy nexus I used the auto backup feature of google + (instant upload) and all my photos where backed up and I could find them im my gallery. On my G2, I can use auto backup, but my past auto back up pictures aren't in my gallery.... I can only find them by going into google+, is there a way around this so I can see them all in my gallery? Thanks!

Just got my Nexus 7 and all I can say is I am loving it.
I have an HTC DHD phone and I wish to store my camera shots online and then view them on my Nexus 7.
What are you guys using to do this. I have a Dropbox account and have just got google drive.
I would rather not use my Dropbox as I try to keep this for work only.
I have set up a google drive and copied some photos on to is but on the android app I can see file names and would see thumbnails.
My overall vision......
Use my phone camera for taking piccies.
Back these up to a cloud (only with Wifi (setting is important for me))
View thumbnails of photos on Nexus - download if required.
Any thoughts for best option?
Google+ with Instant Upload. That's how I do it. It's automatic.
You can send photos back and forth using bluetooth

I got my nexus 7 recently and seems to have the battery drain issue. I monitored the apps running and all that. Adjusted settings according to some of the threads I've read.
I wanted to reset my N7 and don't plan on rooting it yet. However, I've spent hours downloading apps, placing icons and widgets where I like them on my screen. I also created google chrome website via link icons on my screens to quickly access my favorite websites.
Is there a App on the play store that will restore the apps, settings, wallpaper, icons and widgets?
So far I see there's titanium and nandroid (requires root) and mybackup (without root).
*I was happy to get rid of all my apple products but only miss the restore function

Under settings go to Backup and Reset. Make sure Back up my Data and Automatic Restore are selected. It will save your settings and a list of your apps on Google's servers. When you re-setup your Google account your apps will automatically re-download and install.

I've noticed that there's no search option when browsing Photos in Google+ on the Nexus 10. I use this feature alot on my phone. Does anyone know if there's a way of enabling it??
Hi everyone,
I got a N9005 version of Note 3 for my wife recently and just now I noticed a problem with the gallery app, it is just blank, does not load anything from the sdcard, I tried take some pictures and it does show in the gallery but that's it. Sometimes it even does not show those pictures, have to clear data of gallery app and mediastorage. Anyone know why and can help me out? Thanks

google photos freeze when I delete a picture or video while is open, I can´t swipe photo, I have to go back. That happened with not every picture, especially with new picture or video.
I reinstallled google photos and install a new version from apkmirror, but nothing change.
Has anyone the same problem?
Am I the only one?
I wipe and reset the phone for other reasons, but Google photos still freezing when I delete an opened picture.

Hello,
Since Android 11 I have a similar issue.
When I take a pic and click on gallery menu (in the photo app, yeah I uninstalled OnePlus gallery), Google photo freeze a bit (like 1 or 2 sec) and there some glitches during 1 or 2 sec and after everything is ok.
Not a big deal but I didn't have this Issue with Android 10..
Also noticed some sporadically on A11....
