probably not. The app and it's bigger brother "Board Express" seem to have been abandoned. Instead try using the official Tapatalk app from the marketplace and add the XDA Developers forum.

You are not alone my friend.
Why cry about that? Use Tapatalk (it's way better) which you can get for free. ?
Sent from my Lumia 920 using Tapatalk
Yeah, but you Know ive paid For the app, because I,thought that the app was supported and, updated.
Sent from my GT-I8750 using Tapatalk
What's worst, is that I think I had paid for all 3; the XDA app (back when I got the Trophy), the Board Express app (when I first bought my 928), and the Tapatalk app on day one.:crying:

It has, however, been announced from the beginning that the tapatalk app would be free after some initial time. That's why i held out until it became free.
But then again, why did you buy the BoardExpress app when the Lumia 928 came out? The app was broken by then already, it has been unusable for over a year now (even before Windows Phone 8 came along). Why buy an app that does outright not work?
as for the XDA app: What exactly is keeping you from using it? It should still work.

it's too much slow and it's clear that it needs updating to use the new features of wp8( like, resuming instantly with the back button)

I'm on XDA a lot and I've considered getting the paid version of XDA for my phone. Whats the difference between the two? Is it worth buying? I see reviews that go both ways.
Get it. It gives u more options. I have no problem with the paid version.

Yes. Donate to xda. Also, I musta thanked 25 people today lol. I thought it was limited, but maybe not. Oh yeah, premium has the thank feature and the multi quote feature (not sure if free has that). Still, BUY IT, it's good for us/xda. You know xda buys devs phones? You think they print the money themselves?

I've always had lots of issues with the xda app, so I went straight to the source and bought the tapatalk app. Its a much better experience.

I'm pretty sure the free version can do both of those. The free version has bothersome ads, but I'd say most people are using AdFree so they don't have to deal with them anyways.

Upgrade to Windows 8 Pro at Rs. 1999. See the above link for details.
Seems like a pretty good deal.
Thats a great deal, I'd buy it but I received windows 8 for free as part of my acm membership.
I have a windows 8 key but nowhere to Download it. Anyone have a link for it?

I found out if you go to https://www.windowsupgradeoffer.com/ type in your info and any random PC Make, Model, and purchase date that you can get it for only $15, There is no verification of any kind
it will email you a discount code and you just download the upgrade tool and enter the code and bam Windows 8 Pro for only $15, Also for those of us who would like a physical copy, the Windows 8 Tool will allow you to download the .ISO or make a USB Drive

I would really edit that out since it constitutes fraud. It's not your fault that Microsoft doesn't check (I'm sure there are a ton of technical/legal hoops to jump through to get all of the vendors' customer info), but please don't leave that out in the open.

I think it is highly unlikely that you would get away with that. I am sure they have some mechanism to examine the information we give regarding the purchase. A money hungry company like Microsoft is unlikely to just give away the opportunity for people to rob them blind. Also, it is definitely not legal.

Anyways..the phone itself was very nice looking. I love the weight. This phone has some good weight to it because of the aluminum body. The camera was pretty damn amazing and the HTC Zoe feature was pretty cool.
Anyone else get their hands on it yet?

Was it a 32 or 64 gb model?
Any carrier branding? If so, where?

I got to play with it today as well, the display is amazing! Don’t like that their isn’t a removable SD slot... You cant remove the ZOE, but you can change the home page.
It looks like a solid phone and definitely a better upgrade to the htc onex :good:

Sorry, I meant blinkfeed
I got to play with it as well. This phone is pretty sick. The camera is pretty awesome. The zoe feature sold me. You can basically create a movie with it. Lol. The phone is smooth and very responsive. The blink feed is nice as well. The front facing camera is best I've ever seen. It has the capability to be used as a tv remote. The aluminum body felt great and not cheap in the hands. I have the note 2 and think I will buy this phone as well. The list of new features goes on and on. If they can get proper advertising, this phone will be a great success for htc.

If it were anything like the S2 or S3, my pre-order was the first device though their door; I don't believe that they give out demo units before the phone arrives. It's up to the store to yank a device from stock to put on display.
I've seen demo (Fake phones) Come in before a release.
Samsung sends out test phones to fix most tweaks and bugs. Once they have a stable product, they release it .
