[ROM] StockLite v6.0

IMPORTANT -
1) This is *NOT* Team Adreno's ROM. This is my own ROM. Please post all
bug reports and enquiries here, not on Team Adreno's Facebook page.
2) No need to flash stock ROM via ODIN to flash this ROM. You can flash this ROM directly. You wont face any problems even if you flash this on a custom ROM.
Here's a Stock light-weight ROM targeted at those users who love speed and stablity.

Procedure -
1) Download this file and place it in your sd card.
2) Make sure you have ClockWorkMod recovery 5 (or any other recovery
based on CWM5 such as PX Recovery) installed and your device is rooted.
Download CWM 5 from here -

3) Switch off your phone.
4) Boot into recovery mode by pressing home+power button simultaneously.
5) Wipe Data, Wipe Cache
6) Select 'install zip from sd card' and then select 'choose zip from sd card'
7) Navigate to the downloaded file and select it
8) Wait
9) Reboot
10) First boot will take a lot of time, around 5-7 mins or maybe more. Please
be patient and do not think that your ace is bricked.

Indian baseband to flash this. You can flash this on any baseband. It will

This ROM is meant for performance and speed. Its just stock ROM with nothing modded, I've removed useless apps to make the ROM faster. This ROM has got an extra adrenaline shot

The Galaxy NOTE Lockscreen make me feel like want this ROM so badly. But, is there anyway to port the SGSII v5 of adrenoace team's music player to this ROM? Music player with beats and drop down notification control.

i dnt think it would work. i just tried an XWKT7 theme (it may be an older version of that theme, not sure) and it didnt work. the framework is not compatible.
but you can always make a nand backup and try

Yes it's auto, but if you wanna move dalvik, u have to use the command. Better still, install A2SDGUI from market for easier control.

No themes yet, hoping to get some soon, according to tj_droid. Battery life: see screenshot. Not bad I think at night I put it to airplain mode, but I used it normally, maybe a bit heavier than avarege. 12% is almost good.

I don't use that mod, but I remember, that there's no fix. UOT kitchen must work, just watch out for the settings. For me it worked.

Is there an option to enable push email? Cuz mine isnt working.

For me, this ROM works like a charm.
It is fast and snappy, without bugs atm.

First preview
Positive aspects:
- Faster Rom i ever seem =P
- Install application very very quickly
- Love boot animation
- The phone turn on super quickly, never seen nothing like that =D
- Very smoothly and fast
- Lots of free RAM
Negative Aspects:
-nothing to say =P
Bugs:
- I get force close in opera mobile browser (i think you should put dolphin hd browser or the default one)
Question
- Did the rom install applications on memory card for default (if not you should put the program to do that)
- Witch is the diference between home launcher and touchwiz launcher?
Sugestion
- Maybe if you put only one launcher you can get better performence.
- BLN Control works only for missing calls, to work for sms messages you have to do this
"Bln won't work with the stock messaging up due to the fact the phone "wakes" up when you get a text (the screen turns on). You need to tweak the service.jar for it to work or you can do what I did, replace the mms.apk with the cm7 version. You'll get bln notification for texts this way"

about opera just uninstall and re-install from market or use dolphin as u seggested
the difference is one is tw 4 lookalike and the other is tw 5 lookalike and i left booth to left that choice to end user ... u can remove on or another depending on your taste
about in theory it will work but i never tested it if u want test & reply thanks again
about the apps it depends on the app some need to go to phone because of dependencies

Yes it is thats because that launcher was modded from beta holo launcher, and wasn't updated yet as soon as it is uptaded i will post it

i have completed crt-off gonna test it now if everything ok ... gonna upload it in a few seconds

1) This is probably the last and final version of StockLite. I got a Note II few weeks back and therefore I will develop for Note II in the coming future. Although I'll fix the bugs, there wont be any v9. Dont expect a new version and dont ask for it either.

BUGS -
1) No bootanimation. I know how to fix the bug but I dont have time to fix it. Just flash any other kernel and bootanimation will re-appear.
2) ROM doesn't boot after installing adrenaline engine. Reason - unknown.
3) Statusbar clock is invisible. ( It's a known bug and is noted by the mods maker in his thread.)
Fix - Go to settings,statusbar tweaks, clock color and just set it to whatever you want. It will appear.

1.Boot in recovery CWM 5
2.Wipe data/factory reset
3.Wipe cache
4.Advanced>>Wipe dalvik cache
5.format cache/data/system/sd-ext

7.Choose 'Install zip from sd card'
8.Choose the file 'AdwhiteByAdwait.zip '
9.Reboot after the flashing completes. 1st reboot may take 3-4 minutes. After 1st reboot and setting account, 2nd boot is recommended.
Please watch this video if you get any error. This tutorial will demonstrate the complete flashing procedure of "Adwhite By Adwait" ROM.

1. Use link2sd application from PlayStore for using partition of your sd card. It's not included in this ROM
2. Please don't use mixzing equalizer. It will not work. Use AudioFX instead which is already included in this ROM under widget.
3. If you use different launcher than the default one, the icons which are themed white may be replaced with the icons provided with installed launchers.
4. FM radio is the default application from CM team without RDS. The radio uses Bluetooth chip for transmission. So it will start bluetooth when you power on FM. It's normal and not a bug!
5. This ROM allows upto 964Mhz OC, but those who wants to get higher batterybackup, just underclock your CPU. Here's the trick posted by me : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27469465&postcount=26
6. Those who want to change icons Just search on playstore with "adw launcher theme" and you will find 100s of icon packs! For this theme I will suggest Aerish adw theme since the icons are taken from the same.
7. For USB th please Download this app and install: http://code.google.com/p/android-wired-tether/downloads/detail?name=wired_tether_1_4.apk&can=2&q=. Did not got the reply from developer so can't add in the ROM.
8. For better GPS fix according to your location you can edit system/etc/gps.config with following. By default it's europe and it works well with almost everywhere. Tested by myself in India(Asia).Only do the changes if you know what you are doing.

Been testing your rom for a few days already. Let me start by saying Great Work!. It has great speed, and battery duration, it also feels very smooth while handling.
A few problems I've found:
On Google Play, I'm not able to install Foursquare because it detects it as an non compatible device, when it works on all the other roms i´ve tried.
When using S2E, works fine until you try to install an application from the SD card, then it reboots everytime you try.
Also, when you try to connect to the PC via Wondershare or any other software that connects to the phone and is able to install apps, It reboots everytime it tries to install one.
The last 2 only happen with S2E installed. Removed it and tried with Link2SD and that one works fine. Could you add the S2E support?
I haven´t found the non-compatible device problem with the other apps that I use, but there could be others.

Maybe try installing Foursquare off market. Also Link2SD will work with this ROM. I suppose it's the kernel issue! I will update this in my 1st post.

Any fix bro..
Also i have found when using cronmod int2ext4+ the batery script has lost it abilty to make battery monster.
The battery jump so fast to drop for about 8 - 10 hours normal use. I try it full charge in the morning and then charging at noon..

Battery Saving Tips
1) Greenify And Wakelock Detector
- Start the wakelock detector app on rom setup... use rom as usual and wait for few hours wakelock detector to get batry consumption stas..!!
- disable or greenify the apps consuming batry..!!
2) Deep Power Saving
- Color has has good batry Saving options its power Management
- Whenever phone is to be kept idle i will suggest to put in Deep save mode and on Communication mode only ( will Result in Less Batry % drop)

Do you mean you installed it on u707 ? its for lava iris 504q..! the rom is taken from u707..!!! if you want for u707 find it on needrom.com

Installed but had to uninstall as it is too buggy, could not accept incoming calls.

this rom is not meant for your u707. ..!!! so obviously its not going to work..!!! the rom is only for the phone lava iris 504q..!! their are no such bugs as u mentioned! ringtone have been deleted to reduce rom size..!! again.... rom is not for u707.......

Sorry sir. I am not complaining, I just thought it would be informative. I am using LAVA 504q Only.
Once again sincere apologize. I sincerely respect the work done. But, really I installed once again and confirm that the above issues surfaced and also the keypad do not work at first time. There are some issues for daily usage. Kindly validate sir. I installed the ROM on lava 504q only and as per the instructions only.

lolzz.... no need of sayng sir and secondly no need of being sorry..!!! I just thought you installed on u707...!!
about accepting calls... atleast I didnt face that.... still I will verify..!! ringtones and backup app have been remove delibrately..! because hardly anyone uses that app for backups..!!!
encrypt app was not included in the rom..!!
about keyboard...... it dsnt wrk at strt since default input methods needs to be selected.! I already instructed that... and then it works with no problem..!!
lastly, its a ram eater.... but not laggy..!! I dont know if you playing games..!!!
the rom is not suited for games and end no. of heavy apps to work on...!!
rom orignly is too heavy
