good evening:
i have a samsung s4 i9505 and i use a samsung`s smart cover.
I want to know if there is any way to configure what she does when we close it.
i really want to close my cover but i need the phone to keep filming for example...
when i am filming and i close the cover the recording stops.
what i think would be really nice is when filming if we close cover the image should appear in little window
if some one could give some pointers i would be very thankfull.
sorry for bad english

Sup guys check out this video of my s3. Got multiple s4 apks, wallpapers, themed keyboard, ringtones and all on 4.2.1 sammy rom. Almost looks like the real thing.
Yeah you should also saw off the bezel, move the flash and cram another sensor above the light sensor, then you're set

hahahah yup, after that just fit another 4 processors inside and im good to go

Started to saw off the bezel but i think i took too much off, Can you suggest a good strong glue to stick some bezel back on please......
The flash Was easy to move but the hole it has left is annoying, will cover it with some paper i think.
Cant figure how to make the camera same pixel as the S4.
I alsl made the screen bigger by wearing some magnifying glasses which looks amazing.

Lol whats next? Spray the whole cover frost white or black mist?. I would rather wait for the s4 then to modify the hardware of the s3. Cause it will and as always be called the galaxy s3

I am deeply disappointed...

Good for yo mate.. but mine still does not despite plastic removed however I really love the videos quality...
The images captured are not as clear as the Note 2 and S3 which I captured by my own hand..

Well, my task this weekend was to go to some dealer's store and test the S4's camera on the display units.. (I9500 as there's no I9505)...
I noticed the difference in between these 2
Faster focus and capture on the I9500
Less blurry shot on the I9500..
My I9505 really outperformed by the I9500 and I am kinda a disappointed I9505 user now after all I read good reviews.
I am sure something must have gone wrong with the I9505
P.S: The plastic is for sure being removed and outdoor daylight my I9505 has crystal clear picture but not when indoor even when you have good lighting..
Rear facing camera not working
My sister just got a i9505 from the UK.
The rear-facing camera doesn't work, meaning that it's just showing black, but you can still see the on-screen menu buttons.
The front-facing camera works fine.
I tried to ODIN back to stock, but it failed since the device came with a locked bootloader.
I restored it to the latest stock firmware using Samsung KIES, but that didn't make a difference. Any suggestions before I have her send it back for a refund?
Who all r u using the same and their reviews

got a regular silicone case. better for drops and i think its kinda gay to only look at 1/4 of the screen unless you remove the cover, when you can always look at 100% of the screen.
I have to agree... What's the point in looking at a portion of your screen? When most likely you'll open it up fully to reply?.

Haha yeah but just having the ability to see some without exposing your whole screen is kinda cool.

using about 2 days.. it is nice but would be better if someone mods the sview screen adding more apps and abilities. now you only can take notes use camera and listen music.
I was very tempted in buying sview case but then i thought about it for a moment why did i buy note 3? One of the main reasons because of the massive screen so what's the point in buying sview so I can cover up most of the screen!!
The first thing i thought about was "Wont some part of the screen be unprotected with that case?, i don't want any scratch on my phone"

I want it for viewing the message details without having to unlock the phone. I can bring it out of my pocket, glance at it and put it away. Swiping to unlock may not take long, but I generally have a password. I am hoping that the SView allows me to view the info even with a password lock
In time I'll get the Gear, but only when I know it works and probably when they reduce the inflated price (more than many phones!).
hi guys
i just bought samsung gakaxy note 3 N9000 (exynos version) 2 days ago and i noticed something weird with the stylus
there is a certain area of the screen (to the right exactly) that the stylus doesn't write properly i need to press hard on this area when i try to write or scroll and sometimes it doesn't write even if i pressed hard
any ideas what could be the problem??!!!
the finger touches work normally only the stylus
i tried to record it but all screen recorders require rooting and i don't want to root this phone now
i took a screen capture by "Screen Write " feature with the air command .... you can see clearly the area that has no Red lines in the right of the screen
thnx all

thank you for your answer :good:
the problem solved by removing the case
i read on another forum that some types of cases interfere with the magnetic field of the stylus
weird :silly::silly:
i removed the case and the stylus is working fine now all over the screen

Do you have a case with a magnet?

Dave
EDIT: Didn't see last part in thread! Doh!

ya the Problem was With the magnet in The Case
Sadly I had to cut throw the leather of The Case To remove the magnet
from inside
Better Than discarding the whole case

Any case with a magnetic latch causes this problem, happened to me in note 2 .that area of the screen is exactly where the flip cover magnet button is when the the case gets turned on itself

ok, thanks for your response, lets wait another people response from this forum
You can hear this sound when you shake the phone in many different smartphones (iPhone included). I am not sure about it but I have read many forums over the years saying that it is not a flaw at all and it has something to do with the camera lens.
My advice is that if your phone is ok don't pay attention to it.

but it can break the lens if I shake continuously ? I mean in daily use, it can shake without I realize, when I put it in my pocket when I walk, when I put it in my car when I drive. yes, like you said, when I open camera and I shake or knock on side of the phone, this sound reduced. thanks for your response

I had read as I remember exactly the opposite of your fear about it. They manufacture it loose just to give the camera space to perform in order not to malfunction.
Put your phone near your ear and open the camera app. You will hear a soft click in the camera area [emoji6]
In other words there is no way camera will break if you shake it even intentionally.
