I rooted my phone or at least I thought I did, but when I try to use flashing it says I don't have superuser access. I have successfully rooted a galaxy we and a HTC one xl, so I don't consider myself a noob. I guess I am to this device though. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also I took the update from att the day I got my phone. That was before attempting root though with iroot

Can you share what you have done so far? What guides have you followed?
Installed drivers then used iroot. File found on xda. It installed superuser app but when trying to use flashify to install twrp it says I have lost root access.

From what I read guys ioroot. Has a problem. With installing su and su binaries after update..I took update and rooted with kingo. No problems There. I d.l. latest twrp. Put on phone and dl flashify to flash twrp but I stoped with just root for now till I learn more bout this phone. .been reading Some of the mess some people Are in. Seems that people are getting stuck in all kinds of bootloop problems. .

You need CF-Autoroot.
Here is the direct download link for CF-Autoroot:

Flash it using Odin (odin is included in this zip file)

i have a s4 i9515 phone
with 4.4.2 android
i tried to root it as a normal s4
but it still not rooted
i use ubuntu by the way

then installed custom rom for i9505
and the touch wont work
and im stuck in there
how to recover my old system

hi, I know it's an old post... but I wanna ask if when you root with towelroot, you can uninstall all the samsung crapware? thanks a lot!
and it is possible then to un-root back the phone?
I am new to this forum..I have a Samsumg galaxy grand duos and like to root it safely.Can anyone help me to root.I lost my windows 8 pasdword so cannot do anything with admin permission(if anyone know how to bypass that it will be a help).I tried farmaroot and poot but none of them worked....hope brilliant brains in xda will help me to root my phone safely.

If running 4.3--use cf auto root jellybean(google it..or search in development section)
If running 4.4.2--use cf auto for kitkat ( " "" )
For ur pc...google it...u will get diff. Methods annd some applications...try them or the last way is to reinstall win8...（＾_＾）

Hello guys,
Yesterday I tried to install a new ROM based on galaxy s5 stock, however, I got a bootloop cuz I use Twrp recovery. Some guys in the forum told that for I can install that ROM I need the philz touch recovery.
The problem is I dont have a way to use PC now because Im not in home this week.
There is a way to install the philz touch on n900w8 without Odin ? By twrp ?
