You can flash again the kdz or you can extract it from kdz.
Go to android development thread and look for homero's guide on how to extract from kdz.
And then push it to system/app and permission to 644.

Hi there,
I've accidentally deleted the default browser on my Atrix 4g version.4.2.11.mb860.retail.en.fr. Android 2.2.2. I'd be very greatful if somebody would upload the original Atrix browser.apk and browser.odex. I tried to install at least 3 browser.apk what I found on the internet but it didn't work. Please help!

Thanks, I'm not sure it will work cause I got this phone in China and unfortunately there is no official Gingerbread update. I don't want ot brick my phone.
Why don't u just pull the apks out of the rom file you have yourself? Its really just a matter of knowing where to look.
Or if it's a stock ROM look in the development section and grab a rom for your region and rip out the apks.

Sorry, but please be so kind to give me an advice where I could get a rom file you are talking about where to look and how? Thank you.
The only choice you have is to flash a sbf or to unlcok your bootloader and flash a rom.
Here are the SBFs:

I wish someone could just copy browser.apk and browser.odex from the phone. That would be just great!

Ok. Let me tell you something. I was also having the same feeling like you before. Here in this beautiful community there are more stable ROMS available than official LG GB.
You can remove some unwanted LG apps like AppAdvisor for example. If your phone is rooted, you can use Titanium Backup app, downloadable from the market.

[Q] why apps dont work in custom ROMS

Hello,
First I am having to post here because I can't POST in the actual forum at this time. Can someone tell me why I am unable to install some factory and nonfactory apps in custom ROM builds? If this has to do with ODEX and DEODEX can someone tell me how to see if an app is OD or DEOD? Is it possible in a simple way to DEOD an app? Thanks, as I am hoping to get QuickTranslator working in Malladus.

it's not that easy
- you can't install them because they are odexed
- if the apk contains a classes.dex file it's deodexed and you can install it
- you can deodex them with some tools and the stock rom framework (use google)
- most apps won't work on custom roms because they have special dependencies and stuff...

Malladus has on his list of downloads where you got the Rom from is a file called LG Apps, you would flash this as then get all the LG Apps that have been removed. If you want only LG Quick Translator which by the way is in the file or any other LG App in the zip file, open the zip file in say 7Zip and go to System / App and then delete each program you do not want to install. Place the remaining zip file on your phone and flash from recovery. Easy and done.

Can Someone upload Videos.apk of KitKat ?

When i first updated with OTA the system to KitKat, i received KRT160 build and now there is an OTA of KRT160S.
I deleted some unnecessary system apps from system/app and now whenever i receive the installation for KRT160S it says that there was and error with Videos.apk. I tried to copy it from the my Nexus4, i tried to extract the Factory image file but those didn't work for.
Can someone please upload the file Videos.apk please ?
It located in system/app
Thanks a lot !
Please?

The zip they have in their repo is an eclipse project that you would have to compile to make an apk. If you want to view android manifest.xml, you could also just decompile the app you want to know about.
Please post any questions in Q&A, and you may get more help with this particular question in Android General Q&A.
