I guess the price would be around 50K mark.
50k would mean very low sales figure, i am hoping they do not add any freebies and price it around 42,990. Also you think we will have LTE enabled?
50k would definitely be a bummer to the sales of this beautiful phone. It does have the best camera as of now in the mobile phone industry but still Sony India would have to price it in the sweet spot otherwise people would go for the next big thing (note 3).

The premium case with Z was anything but premium, not to say no color choice. I bought a white phone and got a black case. Don't need the charger, if that will add to price. In other countries they are giving away Smart watch 2 and the lens.

Considering how wothless the Indian Rupee has become in the last few weeks, I definetly would say it will be 50k+++ ... If I take the UK Sim free price, that's about 55k... Also you have the indian taxes which are much worse than the UK ones...

Yup, here in the UK, phones4u are giving the smartwatch+content+ bluetooth speakers if you upgrade to 4G... Some other ones are giving away the lens but with a 20.7MP camera, do you even need that? Really sucks for you guys..
Ya, but Sony did price Z very agressively here, it was priced at 38,990 INR, and if i consider that USD was 50 at that time, it converts to around 780 USD.
I am hopeful of a good price, but ya the sad state of the rupee is not helping. I am in Paris next month, but @659 euro it is still pretty exp.

No why LTE in INDIA ? A few lte providers in India and it is costly now and users are like extinct.
No use of lte feature in India at least till Q2 2014

If more then 50k, i will see what does LG price G2 at.
Knowning India probably will be Q4 2020 ... Even when I was there in 2009, vodafone could barely give me more than 2G speeds most of the time....

So my prediction of 42,990 is pretty close. Add 5% cash back comes to around 42k, which i guess is a pretty good price and will set a good precedence.
Called sangeetha mobiles regarding price and availability .the representative said that price will be between 40 to 43 k and avaialability as 18th

I can't find anything exciting about this phone. Its too big, and its too far removed from the other SGSII's; which as we've seen with the Vibrant means "take a back seat" while waiting for updates and support. No thank you.

Sure don't. Especially if you factor in that even though the Vibrant is physically very similar to the original SGS, which the Herc is nothing like the other SGSII's, it takes internet smear campaigns to get updates. Forget Samsung; they forgot you minutes after you paid for your Vibrant.

TMO - $70/mo x 24 mo = $1680 over 2 years

Sprint -$80/mox24 mo = $1920 over 2 years.
--- Sprint SGS2 $200
--- total over 2 years = $2120
ATT - $85/mo x 24 mo = $2040

That's the REAL price you pay. Getting pissy over $30 differences between the subsidized phone pricing either means that the person complaining simply can't do math.

first off its ur fault for staying at 2.2.1, cm7 has been very stable for a while now so gingerbread has been on a vibrant for awhile... ur in xda to upgrade ur phone to different roms am i right??

It's a penta-band HSPA+ phone, so it should work on T-Mo (and most HSPA network around the world). T-Mo doesn't really have a true 4G network; in their marketing terms, HSPA+ = 4G.

I'll confirm HSPA+ works. Speed Test was 10Mbps+. Checked out a co-workers.

Next reason is SGS III
which may not be around the market for another 2months..
But then one may want SGS III...
you can wait 2months and then decide... or compromise $30-50 price difference now and enjoy this nexus for next two months

Vibrant -> Atrix -> SGS II -> Nexus S
I had SGS II and Nexus S simultaneously and I kept Nexus for its stability and curved display(feels much better than flat one). It is as snappy as sgsII and only part where I have to wait for the phone to process is when it is processing panaroma.
I really do not require an upgrade but still i'm going for gnexus as im excited to try what google has on platter with this one.
Considering I kept SGS based Nexus S over SGSII, it is highly likely that I will still stick to Gnexus despite of sgsIII launch.

This is the price trend of the G Nexus, which is the worst I've seen on a nexus phone, yeah buy one, by the time the GS3 and iphone 5 are out this phone will not worth crap. I'd give this one a $300 price range in 2 months.

meh i just got the one x off contract, i could wait. Just was always interested in a google phone. Idk why it's just a guilty pleasure that i wanted in my hands since the nexus s and now i have the money to spend.

wow thats a huge dip in a short time, really never seen that for a phone. is the gnex that bad? i highly doubt it, but wow.
you can buy them locally for $350-$400 too, I dont find this as the best deal in the world, but its still pretty good.

This is the best online deal I have come across so far.
As far xda market trend, hardly anyone is willing to sell one below 450-480 despite of this deal being in place (an many other deals below 450 for quite a long)
PS: Members will be grateful if someone can purchase them locally for ~350 and sale on xda at that price; unfortunately nothing of that sort has happened yet..

I'm not sure about the availability of the handset in our country but last time I asked(before the delay happened) HTC said we're to expect it mid of April. But judging by the delays that happened it should be between mid of April to mid of May.
And yeah Doubt this thread would be active since HTC isn't that widespread in our country. They don't even have any stores here in Iloilo or even in the whole visayas and mindanao.
Best chances of getting it is through Kim Store lol!

^^ I was talking about HTC stores Not 3rd party retailers hehe and that's why I mentioned kimstore in the end since they're usually the first 3rd party retailers here in our country that sells latest gadget earlier than official date. How much did it cost you? I saw CMK Cellphones post one already but it's still coming soon. I know Kimstore and they currently have the best deal for gadgets so I'm waiting for them to post about prices etc.
Yeah, HTC isn't really popular here in our country because of the lack of advertisement. You know people here believes what they see on advertisements rather than experiencing the gadget itself or rather reading reviews about it.

I think it'll be 30k flat or less. Since a lot of online shops are offering smart phones now on a lower price than mall stores.

So yep 29-30k PHP. If you decide not to get the urbeats addon it should only total to about 28k+ PHP. And yeah you could also get lesser charges on the shipping fee if you opt in for UK Royal mail but it's a little bit slower compared to fedex which would prolly take about 3-4days until it arrives here.

Hi! It's already on the screenshot. 29,725.24 PHP no more no less Although I'm pretty sure it's gonna be alot more cheaper right now since the value of our currency is a little bit higher compared to the time I purchased the HTC One.
For me this is already a cheap deal. Having a free flip case + urbeats headphone which would total to like 4-5k+ PHP if I sell it on ebay. The sole reason why I opted in on getting the UK variant is because it has more wider range of LTE bands compared to the Asian variant and I'm not even sure if we will be getting the LTE variant here in our country.

That's a good deal! More tempted to buy one now *drools* What color did you get anyway?
I chose the color black. I preferred it because with the silver one the sides(yellowish stained white), volume rocker(grey) & power button color(black) doesn't seem to match the overall color of the handset. Whereas the black has a black power button & a black volume rocker so for me it's alot more cleaner & sleeker. There's already an otterbox for One? Commuter or Defender?
I hope the black 64gb would arrive here in the Phils. I was almost convinced to upgrade to the Butterfly but when I saw the One, I think I will hold my upgrade, though the black 64gb variant is yet to be seen as of now. I'll just wait for local units, since my One S is still less than a year old.
I'm glad to see that there are still filipinos who aren't blinded by nonsense gimmicks and plastics and rather choose the One.

By the way I ordered mine on e-bay. Making an order on the official site would cost me more with the shipping fee since they're using fedex too. So what I did was ordered from ebay instead and have it shipped through USPS.
I saved like 1.5k+ and yeah I wouldn't spend that much shipping fee just a for a protector case lol!. And yep Commuter and Defender is already available.

Wait for the developer edition if you're willing to purchase outside our country I heard it's already coming in a few weeks from US.

Personally, I ordered mine during the second batch on 11/5. To be honest, it was a long weeks' worth of stress and while a lot of others are experiencing that same stress, day by day we're getting closer to the Nexus 6.

I bought one of every Nexus item google showed off this year. So I know how you feel.
Was able to get an order in today for a 32GB blue. Still holding out for a 64, though, and if I can get one of those, I'll obviously cancel the 32. But not feeling too confident about that, given how quickly the 64s get snatched up, heh...
Anyway, my shipping estimate says 11/21. I can live with a 32, but obviously 64 would be nicer.

I got my order in today for a 32GB Blue, but really wanted a 64GB Blue.
My shipping date is 11/26 right now. I am hoping it will ship sooner, like the Nexus 5, but the nexus 5 I ordered on release day and it shipped the same day, so.... that is out. I just hope it ships well before the 26th.

I figure my player is going to ship too. I got a notice this morning about my cc on the player having a problem processing. I actually just had that card replaced so I updated the card for the player order.

Local tax rates and shipping options will move that number around. Mines $709 with expedited shipping but if he has slightly higher tax that would be why.

Depends on the carrier, that's likely when it will be announced from either their site, or the international variant.

The iPhone requires pre-ordering.
In some areas, the Galaxy S* requires pre-ordering.

Q2 is April 1st... Right in line with it's presumed release date. Verizon said early q2 so April 10 is what people are thinking for the S6. Verizon will surely release the S6 and M9 on their launch day.
