I just recently installed color rom from oppo forum downloads and I cant seem to find any way to change lock screen style or settings,
also, I've installed the international version, but it doesnt seem to have United Kingdom under regional settings
could anyone kindly point me to the obvious section to download/add UK from somewhere and changing lockscreen on color stock rom??

Hi what are the easiest ways to debrand my Touch HD from orange???
Can I do anything through registry settings?
Thanks...
Do you mean the boot screen (may say HTC innovation or similar) or a black loading screen?
In the Windows directory of your device, look for welcomehead.96.png. This is what is displayed as the OS is loaded, and to change it, simply replace the file with another 320 x 320 pixel png.
hI i found that and others ut is there not any other orange applications that will be in there that aren't needed? Or is flashing rom only option?

I think flashing to a custom ROM will be your best bet as this will unlock it allowing you to flash to any ROM of your choice depending on your needs. For information on how to do this, please see this link.
Also running a Orange Touch HD, reflashed and now happy !!
I'm running a very nice rom from Laurentius26. I've tried various ones, all created with a lot of hard work I'm sure and I wouldn't know where to start to create one.
The difference with this one I find is that instead of just changing alot of things on every release, this rom does actually appear to have been debugged and is a very stable release. The only problem I have found is that when you adjust the volume, sometimes it overlays the volume slider over the home screen when it should be just a black back ground. a quick power off and back on and all is sorted.
Anyway, reflash will get rid of the Orange add ons which IMHO don't do alot !
All the best Phil
Hi,
Bought my Nexus in Japan and all of the Google Play apps / content were of course in Japanese.
When I got back home I used the excellent guides on XDA to download a stock / legit (4.1.2) rom directly from Google and flashed the image, I did not touch the bootloader which is on 3.4.1 and the radio as I understand that is already in the stock image
Everything is great and Play content reflects my local South Africa store but there are still remnants of the Japanese FW such as....
- Google search defaults to .jp
- Google Play wants to update a language / keyboard Japanese app
Am I missing anything?
Region set to South Africa and language is English UK
Cannot find any other settings to change or maybe I should have flashed something else?
Thanks
Russ
Hi all,
I have a Focus V1.3. It is not developer unlocked, and I have no desire to spend the $100 to get it unlocked just so I can flash ROMs on it. I do want 7.8 though, so I am going to try using SevenEighter.
I read though the WP7 CAB thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1306415) and there seems to be some conflicting information about language packs. I know I need to add the right language packs to the phone when updating to avoid any problems with features.
1. What are the language packs that came on the original Focus? Do I need to add all of these original languages if I choose to switch regions later?
2. Can I add all language packs? Will this cause problems when updating?
3. What language packs have you used and successfully updates your Focus to 7.8?
Thanks
Just go to Region+Language and tap on Display Language, you will see all the packs listed. There are not many, mine had 5. Update, apart from a few timeout errors, went seamlessly.
is this good advice
I went to region/language/display. Also just found 5. But if I go to the keyboard and look at available languages (as the website for seveneighter says to do) it has a ton,including a lot not available to check off in seveneighter. Have a samsung SGH-i917 7.5 OS 7.10.7740.16.
Hi Everyone
This is my first post, so try to be indulgent ^^
I'm on slimkat/slimsaber kat and I use pattern for security screen lock.
Under theme style option, I want to modify the color of glowpad dots (make it less white..) but this option is greyed and cannot be changed.
Does anyone ever succeed to change this option? Did I miss something?
To finish, like you know, new users cannot post in development section and are not allowed to contact developer member directly. So I want to ask if someone can warn slimsaber's developer (@kantjer) of a bug (or show him link of this thread):
It seems Slimsizer simply don't work in Slimsaberkat rom. I tried several releases, and it's the same but with Slimkat (original) rom, there is no problem with Slimsizer. I made research of "slimsizer" word in the thread but there was no match, so i cannot know if this is a bug or just a just a disabled feature?
Thank you by advance
Hi
Anyone know how to change the region of china dev rom to India. My google services are not working properly due to chinese location. Eventhough changing the region in google app setting feeds are not working. Also the assistant voice is english-uk no option to change it. And i think the voice recognition is not accurate due to this.
Is there any way to change the region in ROM itself.
You simply can't. Chinese rom is for china. If you need to change the region, go for the Global version...
Try this

Hey,
First of all you have to root your phone.
Then install Prop editor.
Then go to:
/cust/cust.prop
There you will see some codes like
ro.miui.region=CN
ro.miui.mcc=9404
ro.miui.mnc=9999
ro.miui.cust_variant=eu
Now to change to global, you have to replace the above codes with the following codes:
persist.sys.timezone=Asia/Calcutta
ro.product.locale.language=en
ro.product.locale.region=US
ro.miui.region=IN
ro.miui.mcc=9404
ro.miui.mnc=9999
ro.miui.cust_variant=in
OR
Change the content of the /cust/current/cust.prop with the values from country specific locale and reboot.
your locale/region will become permanent.
I hope this will help!
Thanks, you made my day.
the only way worked for me after long search
thanks you save me
Not worked for miui 12.5.5 in k20 pro.not other way?
