Don't use TWRP 2.6.0.0. It is bugged. Caused me an issue where upon reboot, I would be stuck on the S4 splash screen.
The good gentlemen in this post have provided links for 2.5.0.2. Download that one. I am using that version now without any issues.

[Q] Change/Replace TWRP Recovery with CWM (ClockWorkMod) on LG G2

Hi guys,
I just want to ask you how could I replace TWRP Recovery with CWM on my LG G2 D802 International? Are there any issue/incompatibility?
I have rooted and installed TWRP, but I have issue with installing CyanogenMod 10.2 Stable (I checked MD5 and downloaded it many times): as I understand is a problem of TWRP compatibility.

It depends on what you download. If you download the recovery.img you can use the app "flashify" to flash the recovery, or if you download a flashable .zip then flash it in recovery then reboot recovery.
There are also instructions on how to use adb and loki here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449670

Mandelbrot.Benoit thanks fot your reply.
I'm interested with the flashable zip, so I just need to download it from Official CWM topic the file called "ZIP FILES - OFFICIAL - TOUCH D802" and flash it from TWRP recovery?

I'm not 100% if thats a "lokified" recovery or not. I don't think you'll hurt anything by flashing it. If you can't flash something using that recovery then there is an issue and you can flash another recovery.

I used the Flashify app from the play store to switch recoveries with no issues.

What do You suggest?
Otherwise, there is also the app called ROM Manger which should automatically flash the CWM.
The important thing is that it does not create problems between recovery.

[Q] (T-Mobile) (D801) Installing Recovery Help

I have the Tmobile LG G2 (D801)
-Software D890110G
-Build JDQ39B
-Rooted using ioroot method
I cannot install either TWRP or CWM Recovery.
No matter what method I use to install a recovery (a zipped recovery) or using adb fastboot, I always end up on a black screen with
[720] Fastboot mode started
[770] udc_start()
I need the latest CWM or TWRP so I can flash 4.4 Roms. I feel like there is no definite guide on how to install the recovery or it seems like a recovery for D801 does not exist.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
-Esteef
There is a guide and a YouTube video walking you through installing twrp through adb. I used it Saturday, works. But I'm thinking I need cwm to install cm11 twrp fails every time.

I just I stalled twrp on my phone today, so here's how I did it. Download recovery from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2469995 , save it on phone SD, dcim folder. Now download flashify from play store. Go to app and choose recovery image, look for the one downloaded earlier. That will flash the recovery and boot after.

[Q] Lg G2 D803 flashing problems

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to flash a rom for the first time and I've been fighting with TWRP for the last week or so. Here's what I've done. LG G2 D803 Rogers Canada
1. Rooted Device.
2. Installed TWRP Manager and Installed TWRP Recovery Image (2.6.3.2) and I can restore with no issues.
3. Downloaded latest PA 4.4 roms for my phone version (LG G2 D803), including the most recent GAPPS (mini modular). And transferred to phone.
4. Reboot into recovery.
5. Wipe Cache, Dalvik, Data, ... etc)
6. Select install ROM.
7. Get error right away (E:Error executing updater binary in zip)
8. Flashing rom FAILED.
What can I do to fix this?
My device is not supported on CWMR, so I'm not sure if that would work. Also, I've tried downloading older roms, so I'm pretty sure it's not a bad download issue.
Thanks for any help!
TWRP 2.6.3.2 isn't the latest release, so that might be your problem. Go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2469995 flash the new zip from your current TWRP, and you should be able to flash KitKat ROMs now. Or, if you prefer CWM, there's PhilZ Touch CWM here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2554053

Hey guys. I'm having the hardest time flashing anything right now. I'm on the 2.6.3.2 and I get the binary updater problem so then I tried flashing other twrp then I get the fast boot error then I tried philz touch then I get boot certification verify error.
All I want to do is flash a 4.4.2 rom.
Canadian rom D803 here.
Thanks
wootever's TWRP 2.6.3.4 oakster15 had posted above worked on my D803, however there are a couple of 2.6.3.4 download versions that didn't work when I flashed it while running TWRP 2.6.3.2. I'm not familar with loki but I'm guessing the one that worked had been "loki-fied".

If you haven't' found this already, here is a great list for the D803 with several options that may work for you. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2611749
Hope this helps.
Hey Guys,
As someone with a D803 variant of the G2, I had been pulling my hair out the last few days on this. Anyway, thanks to the Mahdi team, I was able to get TWRP 2.7.1.0 via this link:
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/hid9ny9jl91yx/TWRPS
The 4.4.4 rom I flashed was made by the Mahdi team and can be found here:

[Q] How do I know if my TWRP is an auto-loki version?

I just installed TWRP (2.6.x) from GooManager (per the all-in-one thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2314494), and I'm about to flash the GPE ROM by Danvdh. I understand that this ROM is NOT loki'd, and that normally I'd need to flash loki-doki, but I suspect that this TWRP is an "auto-loki" version, where it will automatically patch any new kernels that are installed. How would I know that this is the case?

if it boots and just sits there at the boot screen, chances are the recovery is not auto loki'ed, I flash the loki patch everytime a flash a rom to be on the safe side. Good luck

I think the only "auto-loki" is a CWM one called Philz recovery so chances are you'll need the loki-doki zip.
Its like 1MB anyways, might as weljust download it and keep it on your phone. It doesn't matter what rom or recovery your using its the same zip file and most recoverys let you flash more than one zip at a time anyways.
correct on all above
twrp is loki'd, so you can flash it. but does not auto loki non-loki'd roms etc
so flash loki after your mentioned rom
like AX, if in doubt i flash loki-doki anyway
:good:

Update TWRP installation

I was successful using AutoRec to install TWRP. I see it is version 2.7. How do I get to 2.8.6? I tried Flashify, but after an apparent successful installation, I get an error when booting to recovery. Restored v2.7 using AutoRec and then tried TWRP to flash the updated version, 2.8.6 of TWRP. I got an error and nothing was flashed. What am I doing wrong? Are there alternative methods. I would prefer a solution that does not require a windows PC if possible (Ubuntu OK).
There is no version like a 2.8.6. Flash last version from here: http://blastagator.ddns.net/twrp.html
Like khanjui said, download the latest zip from the dev's website to your SD card and flash it from your current version of TWRP.

I am confused. The TeamWin/TWRP site directed me to https://dl.twrp.me/g2att/. I guess this is not a good site? Or is Blasragator version a modified TeamWin version?
So Blastagator shows 2.8.7.1 as the latest. Can I flash this zip file using my current TWRP (v2.7.0) recovery vice some app?
