How to push file in recovery mode - Nexus 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
3 days ago i flashed cm 10.2 20130906 and the tablet hanged on the google logo. Read that was a ROM problem, i can't load an old backup because i didn't do it.
Now my only solution to rearm the tablet is putting a new ROM version inside by adb or fastboot.
What command do i have to launch? What i need installed?
A big problem that i have is that when i connect the tablet to the PC (windows 7) in recovery/fastboot mode, it isn't detect: no logo/sound that reveal the system to recognize a connected device (known or unknown).
Please... I nerd help.
Thanks.

You can flash the Factory image via fastboot. It seems you have a driver issue. Just download the drivers and install them.

Thanks for your reply. Sure it's a driver issue? Because windows seems to not detect the device at all, no sound, no logo, no warning, no devices attached.

Problem whit drivers!!!!!

I have NexusRootToolkit and Fastboot/ADB thing from Google so i can restore and push things on my phone.
It was all great i even pushed 4.3 on my N4 when factory image came out.
So today my friend came to me to update his ROMed N4 to 4.3 and root it.
I did Fastboot thing it went perfect now i wanted to root it again via fastboot(flash twrp.img) suddenly Command Prompt said "Waiting for device to respond" so we waited and waited nothing happend.
I did tryed again but nothing.
Tryed to reinstall everything i could but nothing would help.
Now windows wont find his and my Nexus 4 as Media USB device.
I tryed everything from deinstalling USB drivers that reasambles Nexus nothing helped.
HELP!!!
Afaik the mskip toolkit still doesn't support 4.3
So from the toolkit you are not able to bring the device to fastboot. But you can start the phone to fastboot manually :
- turn off the phone
- press vol minus plus the poee button together
Then the phone should start in fast boot.
At this point with the toolkit you should be able to do almost every thing.

[Q] /system and /sd card formatted = no usb connection

Hi guys.
My frind is a newbbie and formated the system and the sdcard of his nexus 4.Since i have one, rooted, he asked for my help...
The problem is i can't get the windows to recognize the device. I've tried it in a different computer (one who never had an android device connected), and still nothing. Tried using adb and fastboot, and even tried the WUG toolkit, and nothing. When i connected it to the pc, it doesn't even make the usual sound of a new device being connected.
If the pc can see the device i can do the rest, but right know i need your help on this issue...
many thanks.
Anyone please...! Is it Bricked?
Since it doesn't boot into android adb won't work so fastboot is the only option. Just flash the stock 4.3 image and flash custom recovery after if he wants it

[Q] USB device not recognized

I've flashed my i9505 many times. I can't remember exactly what I've done, but now the situation is very weird.
1. I can go into Download mode. But Odin doesn't recognise it. Kies doesn't recognise it either. The error message on the bottom right corner of the screen says "USB device not recognized. Your usb device has malfunctioned." I've tried re-install the USB driver, use the original USB cable, even tried it on another PC with no luck. I suspect the very low level USB driver in the phone has corrupted because possibly I flash something wrong in the past.
2. I can go into Recovery mode and flash new ROMs in zip format from there.
3. I can use my phone normally, e.g. make phone call, SMS, WiFi......My computer can recognize my phone as usual when I am in Android.
Any thoughts? Helps are appreciated.
Hello,
Uninstall any previous installed of Samsung USB drivers, clean your Windows registry through CCleaner (not needed but highly suggested) then download and install latest Samsung USB drivers
Now download mode will be recognized on PC

There is an easier way. If you are using windows, go into control panel-> Devices-> Right Click on your phone-> there should be a Driver Details-> Go details I think it is-> Uninstall driver-> Have the box ticked-> Uninstall-> Unplug then replug the cable in and it should work.

I've tried to re-install the driver. I even tried to connect the phone to another PC where the driver had never been installed before. Nope.... it doesn't work. Actually, I've searched around in Google for long time. The most likely reason is the usb piece of Android code is corrupted. Well, maybe not android, it should be the lower layer of Linux. I previously installed dual boot system follow this link and I screw it up when I tried to upgrade the primary OS:

You said that in Android USB connection works.
The download mode depends on bootloader, that can't be touched in any way by Android, even you can't touch the bootloader.
It's also write-protected, you can only upgrade it through Odin or through an official OTA update, when flashed you can't downgrade and can't write on its partition if not through JTAG

Bad Lollipop Install, Stuck in Bootloop, Can Not Get PC to Detect Nexus 7

Hi everyone.
I unsuccessfully tried to install Android 5.0 on my 2012 Nexus (as well as my Nexus 7 2013). Unfortunately the thing is stuck in a boot loop right now.
I can still get into recovery mode, however, neither of my laptops can detect the Nexus 7. I use a Windows 7 laptop and a Windows 8.1 and I can not access the storage from either.
Can anyone please help me out with this problem?
... hope someone responds with suggestions.... have similar problem... installed Android 5.0, get 'flaky' ops & Pc can't detect tablet... how do I get back to And 4.4.4??
Have you guys made sure you have the updated Asus drivers for pc

My windows 7 PC didn't recognize my n7 in recovery until I disabled MTP (found under "Mount" in TWRP), then I could connect to it using ADB.

Dead S3A?

My daughter's Jiayu S3A just died. She didn't drop it on concrete or in a puddle. It simply went to sleep and never woke up.
I tried swapping batteries (I have 2 spares that I checked in my own S3A), but it won't turn on or charge.
I tried connecting it to my PC to see if I could reflash it, but it's not detected by the USB drivers (I did check that my own phone is detected).
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might have failed or what else to check?

Let it charge for at least 24 hours.

If you try to flash the RC5, do it as usual but while you connect it to the usb cable hold the vol down button (i think). Sobit starts in an preloader mode and the flashing should Start.
(If not try to hold vol up )
