Hi ,
Which better MH5 or MH2 ?
Tell me before I flash one of them
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
MH2 is the newest version going by change log and build date. So it should be better if you believe things get better with time
I flashed the german with mobile odin, and I didn't notice anything new...

I've got update of German version with OTA. Offset is still there (may be a little better then before) and alarm issue is not solved.
after updating to MH2 (DBT) the overall accuracy of spen is a little bit better ....i think....
BUT..there is a portion on the screen that it is completely unresponsive !!!!!!
Edit: Sorry but the unresponsiveness in that particular area caused by the magnets of my Chinese book cover......... after removing it everything went all right....
Anything new? Do you think I should flash it?
Got the OTA update here in Thailand last night. No problems at all that I've noticed.

Same here. Subjective wise I think 4.1.2 was smoother.

Question before I proceeded to upgrade...
So...
- Is the inaccurate pen problem still there?
- I'm rooted on 4.1.2, to perform an upgrade via Kies, what are the steps do I need to prepare before hand?
- Is it just an update or flashing new firmware (which means loss all setting and data)?
- Any root method which allows me to perform an OTA in the future (not stuck with "you device has been modified")?
Thanks,
The upgrades comes in two parts back to back. First package is for 4.2.2 and after the reboot the second packages will begins to dl. seconds packages fixes variety of issues which might include spen.
I found no issues so far with the updated 4.2.2.
After both upgrades I found no problem

If anyone is interested this rom still has the clipboard crash problem. I.e. In s-note for example cut and paste a few times and eventually it will reboot the note. Not good samsung!, I'm very disappointed that they have not fixed this long running bug.........

there's some early test releases of 4.2.1 for the S3 floating around, the note 10 seems to be following the builds of that device fairly closely, so lets hope we see a leak build for ours at some point.
Another Germany release right? Is that the beta-country or something ;D

Kies update is available. March 2013 release.
As I responded to your other post with this link :
"So there was a DBT MB2 version for the N8000 a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't see the difference. Now there is an MC2! Has any one downloaded it or have any idea what is different between the two versions and from the MA8? Otherwise I'll just wait for 4.2.2!"

Samsung should stop releasing different yet same releases! ME6, MF1, MG1, all are same for different regions, what's the point? Crazy! Weird!

Caution:
During instalation, you cannot use your device at all, even for emergency calls. Icons at the home screen and device settings may revert to default and may need to be reconfigured after installation. After installation your data will be preserved, but if you stop the installation incorrectly by removing the battery, your device might not work normally. Build number: JDQ39.I9195XXUBMJ7
As I understand this is for Region: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom
Well I let it a try and want to share my experience.
The update took 13 minutes from applying the update untill the full bootup. And drained 3% of a battery from 80% to 77%. All apps and icons on the home screen remained untouched.
Comment removed
Thanks for the details. Let us know if anything is improved

As read in another thread now you have the Knox warranty flag/counter.
You can see that when you bring your phone in download/odin mode.
And as I understood now you can't flash back older firmware, or root and flash custom roms without loosing your warranty (warranty void).
Look at this thread!

It`s offically annonced that S4 mini will get 4.3 till the end of November and this is sure as Samsung anonce that Gear will support S4 Mini which mean 4.3 for us in the end of November.
As for the Rom I love the stock one and don`t need root as there is wifi tethering so I don`t need to play hacker just to have network on my laptop when traveling.

I think this will cover it.
A spokesperson for Samsung UK told CNET that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean "will be available across a range of Galaxy devices from mid-November, subject to software testing and approvals by individual networks."
Installing now and see how it goes. The only thing I pray for is the basterds fixed the battery drain bug. I doubt it, but we will see...
Someone mentioned no rooting possible from this version on? Should there be a workaround this, because I am pessimistic they fixed the issue?
For now, everything is in place and the update was non-problematic. We will see how the battery usage goes...

Bulgaria, but my phone is from France. I updated it via Kies.
Hello,
I updated my Note 3 to Kitkat 4.4.2 with CSC:N9005OJVENB2 ... AP: N9005XXUENC2
, but I'm not satisfied with battery consumption
I heard that it's a problem with the new update,
Samsung has put a new update but only for a few Regions including Thailand which is the only country without Carrier name next to it (CSC: N9005XXUEND6 ... AP:N9005OLBEND1)
So is it safe to use another Region's Firmware ?
Here is the link of the firmware

Thanks
