This seems to happen often whenever I boot into recovery mode, just wondering if anyone knows why.

Not really sure either. Most likely the battery stats aren't tracked when in recovery. So when you reboot to system it shows a sudden drop?

Could recovery really be using that much battery? All I do in it is flash a few files and I reboot, usually done in 5 minutes.

Auto update apps turned on? Did you try to update apps with poor data coverage. Looks like something with an app update hung.

No auto update apps... Wierd

Probably a memory leak or wake lock somewhere... just reboot the phone, it be really odd if it ever did it again. Remember this cpu is producing errors left and right, there is an entire section of the phone built entirely for correcting these errors. Sometimes it doesn't work.
When I first got my phone I was getting 15hrs now it has dropped significantly I have taken screen shots of before and after. The after the system is using way more battery than It ever used to?

I would try installing an app that monitors your battery. You probably installed an app that's wake locking your phone. Or, if you're rooted, you could have a bad flash or something along those lines.

Hi,
I have Nexus 4 (rooted with TWRP, stock 4.3) and just recently it keeps draining battery really fast.
This is a screenshot of Battery:

Sorry, accidentally sent.
I also meant to upload this:
And this which is a screenshot of a wake lock detector:
Does anyone know what 1013 is? And why is it keeping my phone awake?
Thanks,
Lachlan

App constantly crashes when I start it up. Cleared cache/data, reinstalled, fixed permissions, even re-flashed Roms... I need this damn thing to work!
Thanks!

Is this an app you coded on your own? Name of the app? Also a full log would be nice. (Adb logcat or whatever that produces a log in text form)

I left my phone at 83% before going to sleep. When I woke up, it was only 72%. I can't seem to find the culprit. BBS also shows about 2 hours difference between screen on time and device awake.

Here you can see what my battery drain is like. My screen on time isn't bad but the other is.
