I just received the oppo 5, love the phone but it has couple bugs. When I connect it to my car radio I can't listen to bluetooth audio. It keep saying no audio source found but I can still make and receive calls from using the car radio.
Also another problem is that the flashlight doesn't work, I tried other flashlight apps but the flash is not turning on.
Thanks for any help

my bluetooth will pair with phones and headsets but will not connect for file transfer
Might just be me (but I doubt it)...I haven't seen an Android build yet that had OBEX. Check the changelog and feature list for your particular upgrade and see if that was offered.
I have had issues with the bluetooth as well. I bought a Motorola s705 for streaming music/speakerphone in my car. For some reason, the sound quality is CRAP and it 'hiccups' every 30 seconds or so. I tried the same device with my wife's t-mobile shadow (htc juno) running WinMo... Worked beautifully.
I'm using the .26I radio, but seriously considering going back to the old radio to see if it improves performance.
I also just tried to pair and do file transfer with my friends Blackberry and failed as well. I think beartard is right... No OBEX.
I am having issues as well. My Pioneer car stereo supports A2DP, and all is well when the thing is paired, but next time I go to use it, I get connection "Error" when connecting either HFP or A2DP. Disabling stereo bluetooth on the stereo seemed to fix HFP, but I want my Stereo bluetooth.....
Have others had much luck with A2DP?
hey thanks for the replies guys but i was looking for some answers haha
AFAIK, only A2DP and AVRCP was added in Android 1.5, so no big wonder file transfer wont work...
A2DP works like a charm with my A2DP headset - haven't tried with other devices.

Stereo Bluetooth skipping issues
If streaming music via bluetooth is skipping, turn off your wifi and that will fix your problem. I was having major anxiety over this, but found the answer last night searching forums. I tried it out and my music has not skipped since. I stream music to my car stereo and it is excellent now that I've turned my wifi off.
Finally got bluetooth in my car stereo and reviewed some threads prior to posting, but not sure anyone asked / answered the question I have. I'm basically wondering how people are using their bluetooth stereo's. From what I can tell so far I have 2 options.
1. Phone pairs, i listen to my car stereo and if a phone call comes in the stereo picks up the call if i say, and upon completion back to my car stereo
2. Phone pairs, put the car into BT Audio mode and stream audio from my phone including phone calls.
The problem is, i'm looking for a way to combine both. For example I'd like to be able to listen to my car stereo, and if i get a notification i hear it over the radio, not just phone calls. I haven't tried yet, but i'm guessing the nav will be the same way, if i'm listening to the stereo and running nav on my phone i will get no turn by turn like i would if i was listening to music on my phone and running nav.
Is there a way to do this? Am I missing something? I have the Sony Xplōd™ MEX-BT3900U. Is this a limitation of my stereo, or just not how most people use their bluetooth?
I just ordered a replacement radio as well with BT support. I'd be curious wth what other people have to say with experience as well.
I use this all the time.
Both options will work provided the head unit you bought supports media streaming.
Your phone will connect both phone and media over Bluetooth. You listen to your media and if a call comes in you can take it while the media is paused. Media will resume after call completed.
Notifications and navigation will pause and resume media as needed.

I've found the quality of the audio over bluetooth to be very degraded. Have a rear AUX 1/8th port and run a cable to mount, Then use BT headset for all if need be, but have Pandora playing Excision & Downlink radio the entire time
All AOSP ROM's that I've tried have a weird Bluetooth connection issue for me.
Scenario is that if I'm in my car listening to any music app on my phone, streaming the music via bluetooth to my car. And if I power off my car, wait a minute or two and then power on my car again, I don't get any more music over bluetooth. Even though Bluetooth still says it's connected to my car stereo.
To get it working again, I have to turn Bluetooth off, then turn it back on again (or reboot phone). This happens with both my car stereo (JVC) and also my standalone bluetooth receiver.
I've attached a logcat in case anyone can help me figure out the problem or maybe a workaround.
The cm10.1 based roms currently have this issue. It's across many platforms. It's not your device. You'll have to wait until this issue is fixed.

Oh man, I can't wait for Google Edition to drop. Really hoping they'll release source on it. :good:
Hello.
I am using my S4 in car.
It connects at same time to my car hands free (Audi MMI) with Call Audio profile and it connects to my A2DP Music receiver (connected to my car IPOD cable) using A2DP profile.
This dongle supports also Call Audio profile but I have paired it using only A2DP.
Connections are good and phone always connect to both without connection issues.
Sometimes (often) when it is connected to both devices, music and sound stop playing (the player is going on with playing and with time counter but I can't hear any sound from car or from phone speaker).
If I disconnect car hands free, music starts playing from car audio speakers.
If I reconnect car hands free again, music stops playing.
When this happen, the only way I found to solve is to restart the phone and then all is ok (phone hands free and music streaming).
I have the problem with 4.3 but it was the same also with previuos 4.2.2 android version.
I think it is a phone problem since restarting always solve it.
Someone had the same problem or has any advice?
Thank you
Chris
Hello,
I have recently upgraded from the HTC One M7, however I am finding my qualms that are making this Note4 a pain in the arse.
When I get into my car, I have the Bluetooth automatically sync to my stereo. This syncs my phone, and contacts and also allows Bluetooth audio and Pandora capabilities. However, I like to use my phone for navigation and sometimes listen to the radio without using any bluetooth audio.
I have not found a way to keep the Phone synced up with the stereo, yet to play the audio from navigation(Waze) from the Phone. Every time it connects to the stereo, the phone output sends everything to bluetooth. And when I am listening to the radio, I don't hear anything at all. No directions, notifications, ect as its still sending them to bluetooth even though I am not listening to bluetooth.
I never had this issue on my HTC one, does anybody know of a solution?
