I'm new to android and i'm looking for some help.
I just got a sgs4 i337m on 4.2.2 and trying to unlock it so i can use it with at&t. The phone is locked with claro (puerto rico)
I've already tried many tutorials but all have failed.

Good evening to all!
I have bought a galaxy y duos locked to a carrier, i have rooted the phone, installed CMW and GingerICEjelly as on the tutorials and everything went ok
But the problem now is i cant use my sim card on the carrier was locked before, its asking for a unlock code :s
What can i do?

I finally got my S4 from T-Mobile Germany. I'm now searching for the right development forum to find some ROMs. Which is the correct variant forum for me? Is it the "T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4 Android Development" forum? Does it cover the german ones?

Well, of course you have the Snapdragon version. So that's the main thing to focus on as far as development. The US Tmobile S4's are Snapdragon as well....so as far as I know, maybe minus an LTE band, your German S4 and the US S4 are identical hardware wise.
I'm new to the Samsung root scene, but with my HTC, we had to have SuperCID to be able to flash any ROM that fit our hardware, despite what carrier it was for etc.
I'm sure someone with more Sammy knowledge can give you better info, on if it's ok to flash any ROM or Kernel related to the I9505. Or if you even need to have SuperCID, or something like it on Samsung devices.

I've only found rooting guides for the i9500 and 9505, and hardly any mention of the Canadian SGH-i337m version.
Also, there seems to be 4 distinct GS4 sub-forums (US carriers and international). I am confused about which guides/software/literature pertains to my device; can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi i have a locked phone right now and the build number JDQ39.I1337MVLUAMG1 and i have googled and tried every method from *#0909#- *#0011# but nothing seem to work so im wondering if anyone have methods to unlock carries..

This is the S4 Active i537 forum. You might have better luck posting in the correct forum for your phone.
Pay attention which device forum you are in to avoid making a $700 paperweight. There are 6 S4 forums.

I have racked my brains trying to get qpst to see the comports on my i337m to no avail. I have tried 3 different programs, all of the drivers load but still can't see the phone through qpst. I have followed the threads to the letter with no luck.
Has anyone managed to solve this problem yet ?
