Hi guys, i think something is up with my s4 since my recovery keeps working for a few hours then looping and then after a few hours my rom keeps saying the uids are inconsistent. What should i do? reflash stock again? should i repartition? (how do i do this)
Thanks for the help because currently i have no idea how to fix it.
Im on Android Revolution HD 3.0 by the way.

Thanks, il try it again. However i have already done it once
I think whats caused all this is the new update which i flashed with knox :'( now my speaker doesn't even work and most apps crash. And at the moment there is no way to reset the counter :crying:

a while ago i flash v16 from v15 then after that i flash the modem suddenly my phone stucks at boot logo .
now im using stock rom 4.2.2 then i flash v15 and v16 omega rom and now im stuck at samsung galaxy s4 boot logo again
anyone can help me please? should i go back to v13 (4.3 before flashing omega rom v15 or v16 rom?)

Every day I personally lose confidence in roms here
Not talking about a certain rom and creator - to emphasize this
Talk about creators who have in their hands a model - for example I9500
but make rum for I9505
Clearly easier replacing certain files etc. but how the ease with which it share with so many people after you have not personally tested your phone
Once again this is a personal opinion I respect the work of any developer but not so

omega rom is the custom rom ive use since before. i dont know what happen all my files are gone now it takes time again to re arrange and to put/download files. i hope someone could answer my problems

ok i hope someone can help me solve my problems with 4.3 i had MK2 installed and working after i just got it back from samsung lol BUT anytime i install a new rom then er now try to re odin mk2 it turns on goes into the bootscreen then stops randomly while loading (the bootscreen) then bootloops forever =( hope someone can help me on this one, if u can thanks in advance! :silly:

noob answer, but have you tried to restore the stock MJA though odin?
i got stuck in a bootloop earlier this week but i restored my GS4 in odin and its been woorking perfectly fine :victory:

I'm sorry to hear that, honestly. i was literally stuck in a bootloop too like 30 minutes ago, but i restored the MJA twice and right now its working, no I'm just restoring back the apps and junk. sorry again I wasn't much help. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will come to the rescue, just hold on tight bud :fingers-crossed:
where did u download the mja tar for odin

Hello I put Echo 4.4 rom on my phone today, the phone bricked and after hours of troubleshooting i managed to get phone on
Now its on there is no sound, wifi, camera and the phone freezes goes to black screen alot
Can someone please help me with this issue. It is impossible to use phone
i have flashed it with echo numerous times with wiping data and not wiping data.

best way is to install stock ROM and then try to install custom rom or wht u wanna do.
But also u can try to flash another custom ROM to figure out what is exactly ur problem
maybe Echo ROM or its kernel or something wrong in process of installation.

when phone starts is stuck on samsung screen
and i see no option to put a new rom on phone any suggestions?

I am not going to update to any other rom as it was a very big ordeal

Hi everyone. I was using my phone with stock rom for a while ans I wanted to pass to Miui cuz I heard 4.4.2 will be released soon.
I downloaded TWRP and tried to flash as I did everytime before with Odin. I flashed it and it rebooted, odin showed Pass with no errors, but when I tried to launch the recovery, it is still stock. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I flashed it like this before and they always worked but this is not working. Is there another way to install this? I don't have root access but it wasn't an issue before. I have the usb drivers installed and debugging on. It was tricky to install drivers on Win 8.1 but it seems like installed correctly as it didn't showed an error.
Waiting for an answer please. I hate this exynos phone but my parents just not allowing me to sell this.

I tried installing Miui in the stock rom but it didn't work. Perhaps the last updates did something? Cuz I was able to do this with ease. Maybe downgrading to the first stock 4.4.2 will work but it takes a lot of time and I'm sick of this. Thanks anyway, I'll boost your thanks meter by one more for trying to help

The rom you are currently on has nothing to do with your inability to flash the recovery. It's a completely different thing.
Uncheck auto-reboot before you flash the recovery. That should probably fix it.

Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505G which I flashed a custom rom on about a year or so ago.
I have since tried to update/flash it again with no joy. My baseband version is (meant to add my baseband when my phone loaded, it didn't.... Its something like MEA on the end.
I tried updating it so many ways, all different roms, stocks, baseband updates, god knows what else and I spend a lot of time on it also.
When ever I try to flash a stock rom using ODIN it fails. I recently tried to flash 5.1 I9505GUEUDOH2 Full Restore hoping it would just solve all my issues but now I seem to be in a boot loop.
I honestly don't know why this has happened.
Please can some one give me some advice or point me in the right direction?

Sorry for posting in the wrong section
Okay, so I managed to sort a sort of fix, I guess.
I used odin in download mode to flash twrp recover using BL. I launched into recovery and installed a I9505 rom onto my phone. So its currently working and I will probably leave as is in worry that if I continue to mess around I may brick it for good lol

My guess is you were flashing the wrong roms. You probably have an I9505 and not an I9505G.
