Every call i made or answered today, it automatically does so in speaker phone mode. For example: i get a call and the phone answers it on speaker and everyone can hear the caller. Any ideas? thanks
If you have visual voicemail try opening that and playing a message but change it from speaker mode into handset mode then try making a call and see if that works.

Hey guys this thing thats been happening to me is absulotely mind boggling and if anyone can resolve this it would be greatly appreciated. it bugs me like theres no tomorrow.
so heres the issue.
i have a samsung galaxy s4 with all the latest updates provided Android Version 4.2.2
when im travelling along in the car or even randomly seated i would receive a call or even make a call and place my phone on loudspeaker now the funny thing here is that the phone after maybe 10-20 seconds will automatically switch back to normal speaker and it annoys me so i have to put it back on loudspeaker mode
ive had the occasional scene where it still showed that loudspeaker was activated but the caller was coming through the normal speaker so it forces me to tap loudspeaker to de-activate it and then tap it again to activate only to realise not long after it automatically switched back to the normal speaker all over again.
NOTE: the phone is laying flat on my lap or standing infront of me.
has anyone had this issue before and is there some sort of fix for it
PLEASE HELPPP !!!

First of all, my phone has root access and its unlocked using the bootloader method(I boughted like this a week ago).
The first 4 days the phone worked perfectly, but now im having this trouble:
When i make phone calls or i recieve phone calls, the microphone and the speaker mutes.
For example, if i call Jhon he receives my phonecall, but he can not hear me and i can not hear him. Also i can not hear the first tones if im making the phone call and waiting the other person to answer.
If i make a hard reset, everything starts working fine again. But after a few hours this malfunction comes back.
I changed my sim card, but nothing changed.
I think this might be a ROM's bug.
What do you think?
I have an issue with my Verizon note 3 where it sometimes will make a call or receive a call however I can't hear the user on the other side and they can't hear me. I can reboot my phone and than after a reboot sometimes that gets it working again and other times it does not. Also to note sometime I can be in a call and the voice just drops in the middle of the call however the call is still connected. This seem to start after the lollipop update however I have done a factory default as well as pushed my phone back to kit Kat and still same issue on either lollipop or kit kat. Also hard to believe it is a hardware issue as I am still able to do Google voice searches and able to hear videos through the speaker. Just when dialing a call or receiving a call the call is connected however dead air on both sides.
