Hi,
I've been trying to make a nandoid backup of my most recent working configuration but TWRP keeps giving me an error claiming that there is not enough space available on my SD card although my SD card is new (32gb). TWRP is reading the Data partition incorrect. It sees 736829801MB which is around 7 terabytes.
Is there anyway to repair the Data partition? The application manager shows only 8gb of data in use.
Thanks

May sound silly but are you selcting the right location for back - External SD?
I know on TWRP many of my friends had similar issues and it was related to the location of the actual backup. They 'thought' they were backing up to external SD but in actuallity weren't.

Yep the location is correct. I'm backing up to external SD.
What version of TWRP are you using? I and many other have had the best luck with 2.5.02

I'm currently using Twrp 2.5.0.2. It's driving me crazy because I cannot backup my current ROM state at all.
Try re-installing TWRP - either from .tar, zip or goo manager (probably have to grap the latest if from goo though)

Updated to the latest but that didn't work either.

Someone had the same issue here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2372131
Great news, I was able to fix the problem. I'm unsure which of these two solutions worked but what I did was updated to Twrp 2.0.6.1 and unhide photos on my s4 from a program called audio manager which is a decoy app for hiding items.

Hi I'm having issues with clockworkmod.
See the problem is while trying to flash cyanogen mod I was getting the endless loop so I kept
at it until I managed to flash it. The problem is I flashed Cm6.1.0 so easy fix right? Well I thought so too until clockworkmod wouldn't find the zip. So I tried nandroid and it again couldn't find any zip so I checked the partitions menu and clockworkmod had mounted the
Sd card and the cache. So I unmounted both and still nothing so I looked at the setting's again and it remounts the cache and sometimes the Sd card. Well my problem is worsened by
the fact that the version of cyanogen mod that did flash doesn't have the market or flash.
Any help will be welcome. HTC aria.

With CM 6, the Market is in the GoogleApps zip which must be installed after the ROM.
Also Flash 10.x does not run on the Aria; the CPU is not supported by Adobe.
Well clockworkmod won't find any zip not even nandroid and so my problem deepens so now can't get the market crap.

Some of your terminology in your post is very confusing. First of all, ClockworkMod will only find ZIP files that are copied to the root directory of your SD card. If you copied them to a folder on your SD card, CWM will not find them.
Second, Nandroid is a backup and restore utility and it does not use ZIP files. It creates backup folders on the SD card under /clockworkmod/backup and contains image files of the various partitions on your phone.
So what is the exact state of your phone? You stated that you have flashed CM 6.1? If you boot your phone normally, does CM 6 start up and are you able to use your phone? In order to install gapps.zip file to get the Market app, copy the gapps.zip file to the root of your SD card and see if ClockworkMod can install it. BTW, in CWM you are select "install zip from sdcard" and then "choose zip from sdcard", right?

Thanks for correcting my misinformation. I guess the root location only applies to "update.zip", right?
Yup. And it actually must be named "update.zip"
Oh crap I just formated the boot partition and now my phone won't boot at all!
It still won't find any zip. What now? Is there any way to restore clockworkmod?

Are you copying the zip files from your PC to the sd card? Have you tried downloading a ROM zip file directly to your SD card using your phone's browser?
I have exactly the same problem...Clockwork will not see any .zip files....even tried mounting usb storage from cwm, it mounts and the zips are there, yet it can not find any of them when i try to find them (all are in the root of the sdcard)...any ideas?
So if you pick "choose zip from SD" you can't manually pick a zip?
Sent from my Liberty using XDA App
Found a solution:
1. Get SD card formatter from HERE
2. Plugin your phone (as USB drive), start up the application and format the card (default options selected) NOTE: backup your SD card to your PC first (obviously)
3. Unplug the phone (or put it into charge mod, whatever)
4. The phone should now try (and fail) to mount the card...go to the SD options and format the card using the phone function
The .zip files should now be visible in ClockworkMod Recovery (it worked for me and a few others as far as i know)
According to SD card Analyst I have
Clockworkmod: 1.99GB
TWRP: 1.12GB
TBU: 383MB
As you can imagine, that is a BIG chunk out of my 6GB total!
I have flashed lots of ROMs in the last couple of weeks but I have now settled on one. AFAIK all I need to keep is the current bakup in TWRP in case anything happens.
I would be glad for some advice as to what I can safely delete. I don't want to make a mistake as my system is running brilliantly right now.
Many thanks for any help!

As you already said, you should keep the TWRP backup as a safety net... The dated folders in the Clockworkmod can be deleted if you don't need to use them any more. Just leave the main folder but delete the sub folders.
TBU backups are just your apps + data... if you don't need data restored (since you probably have them in your TWRP backup) you can delete the contents there as well.

I agree with cvcduty, but I just wondered if there was a reason you use both TWRP and Clockworkmod, especially on an 8GB N7 with limited space. I've always just used CWM, so I was curious

Well, to be honest the answer is a bit silly: I am not aware of having used CWM, I didn't even know I had it!
Can I uninstall it altogether? And if so, how?
In CWM, there is a folder called Blobs with 1.78GB worth of folders. Is it safe to delete it?
If you don't use cwm then yes you can delete it.
I removed mine aswell as I have a nandroid backup on my PC which I can adb push if worst comes

The clockworkmod APK
and
The clockworkmod RECOVERY
both use that same folder. Every time you flash a cyanogen Rom it had the apk installed by default. So that's where it's coming from.
In the folder back up the Nandroid folder or the one with data system recovery files (140-250mb) to your computer and then delete the whole dang folder if you do not use clockwork recovery.
As for titanium you can use the cloud storage feature and save another 500mb

What do you mean by broken nandroid? If possible, try to view the nandroid backup and manually extract the savedata. This can be done by using Nandroid manager.
If you want to get back your data forensically, it would be very troublesome. I know as I'm currently studying digital forensic for my course. You might also not be able to recover the files if the data had been overwritten.
Tried hexamob bit it doesn't work with the internal storage,my problem with my nandroid backup is that i can't restore it using CWM.
Nandroid manager sounds good but i don't think that my savefiles are included cause they are stored on sdcard/.fpse im not sure but i guess the nandroid backup doesn't include the internal sdcard?

Depending on what recovery you used and how you did your nandroid backup.
If you did a custom/advanced backup and selected specific partition to backup, there's a high chances that you might not have backed up internal sdcard partition.
If you chose the 'backup to external sdcard' option, there's probably a high chance that internal sdcard is backup too.
You should really try out the Nandroid Manager to see if your backup has internal sdcard partition.

+1 Nandroid Manager app
I was surprised with the Nandroid manager app - while it didnt work for me at first, i did get an update through and then it was fine. Currently, however, it wont restore my nandroid, but it might be worth giving it a try as previously mentioned
TWRP Manager will not show any backups. I boot into TWRP recovery they show up. If I do a internal backup it will show in TWRP Manager just not on backups made to sd card. Anyone have this issue and a fix? Thanks

Does that app have options to mount the externalSD somewhere in it? Seem to be an application issue; might want to submit a ticket.

Yes, I encountered this when NOT copying the folder with the device ID. I had thought that folder was useless, but turns out it isn't.
To fix, you need to use a generic device ID, and put the backup in that folder. You might be able to get your backup recognized by renaming its housing folder to:
Code:
