Hi guys,
So I finally got apex set up the way I want to. Disabled the notification bar and used zooper widget to set it up on my homescreen. I have installed a minimal.zip and minimal-wifi.zip icon set which I used for mobile signal and WiFi. Only problem is the bars on the signal and wifi are not in sync with the bar levels on notification bar. Is there anyway to get zooper widget icon set to sync with notification bar for mobile signal and WiFi signal? Say change something in the icon set XML file? I don't know anything about script writing even though I did it back in first year uni which I forgot....Anyways is this possible because its a little bit off?
Also off topic but.. is there any app or something that pops up a number on the icon on the home screen like the iOS notification icon number thing. I'm using Missed It! right now so far so good but would rather have a number popping up on the icon rather on a widget. I know you can do it on Nova :/. Apex notifier doesn't work with whatsapp and such

Ok so I tried to customized my home screen and so I have hidden the status bar cause 1) It's ugly, 2) I have battery status and signal strength on the home screen.
And then I realised that's some information were missing... So here come my idea, I'm gathering informations to make a "cal widget style" home screen notification widget.
That seem a good idea to me to display the usual notification directly in a widget but it doesn't seem easy to make at all.
If you have any advice, piece of code, warning or cute girl don't hesitate...

not 100% what you're looking for, but if you happen to use CM-based ROM, there's quite good solution here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1031607
Hollow xda community. I am having an issue with my lock screen. I am running action launcher and the Pacman ROM. My issue is that the status bar clock disappears on the lock screen. I tried running the stock launcher and it still disappears. I've attached screenshots of my issue.

It's normal. Its because it shows the clock widget on the lockscreen already, so there's no point of showing it in the status bar as well.
Thanks. If I pull the notification shade down the clock appears but then disappears when I pull it back up. I understand that its not really necessary but I end up missing notifications because I think my status bar is empty. I know. Kinda stupid.
Anyways if there's a quick fix I'll be glad. Otherwise I can learn to live with it
Is the a way to get this animation back?
They also changed the status bar icons from blue to white!

All references were removed for the arrows of data transfer. It now only shows in quick settings because it took a lot of resources to constantly draw them on the screen all the time. I don't mind the white.

I use "Network Monitor Mini Pro". It totally replaces the indicator on the WiFi icon, and is much more powerful.
I set it to display the current network traffic at the center of the status bar, and hide when there is no traffic.

actually the standard status bar have white color only for wifi,
but if you slide the notification bar down, the wifi icon have 2 colors have and showing arrows for incoming and outgoing:
- when wifi have internet connectivity: white
- when wifi doesn't have internet: brown
hope this helps you determining the incoming and outgoing on wifi.

Hey all, I'm looking for a weather app or module that will give me either a constant notification (like the google weather card but just needs to be constant) or sits somewhere in the quick settings (like the one integrated in CM12 is exactly what I would like). A lot of the apps I have tried do give the constant notification BUT they also keep an icon in the status bar which I am trying to avoid. A small handful, such as BrightWeather, offer the option to hide it and is the current one I am using so far. So does anyone have any suggestions on this?

Yeah it does, the only problem with Amber is that despite setting refresh interval to 3 hrs, I wakes my device a lot more often than that. I think it had woken to do something >15 times/hour. Tried to go through all the settings and not really sure what it was doing, but the battery drain was too significant

Before to ask I must said that I have done a huge research and check every post mentioning status bar issues, I even look through the Home screens post and similar post where members where showing their home screens to check if I could see the location icon in any status bar.
I have a S7 edge with HydraRom 1.4, Xposed is installed and the Flat Style Bar Indicator mod is there too working wonderfully but, I can't get to manage to see the Location icon on the status bar when I activate it and I have try all.
I only use Location active when I go out in night time to do Astro Photography, together with some apps helps me to do the polar alignment of my tracking mounts. I want to see the icon on the status bar to be sure it is active without the need to unlock the phone and drag the status bar down to check, I am starting to be afraid it is not possible like the sync icon which is not showing neither but, that one is not bothering much.
Any help will be appreciated!!
