No. you need to buy an unlock code.
It's 1.7 - 1.9 $, it's cheap if you ask me.

Maybe the device is blacklisted or something. Or wrong code has been entered few times. Try other types of unlock or try inserting unsupported sim

I have exactly the same problema. My operator gives me wrong codes and now it say that it is my fault.
So I have my LG g2 802 rooted and I wonder how to unlock it, beacause of the bad operator behaviour (Vodafone) I just want to change my service provider asap, but I just very happy with my current phone.
so, does anybody some new ideas about how to unlock a "permanent blocked" phone?

Hey, so i have a LG G2 (D802) from Portugal, and i bought the sim unlock code but when i insert the sim card it asks me for the pin code but doesnt prompt me for the sim unlock code screen, i dont know why, i already used 3845#*802# and it goes to the hidden menu but in the hidden menu i dont have the option to unlock i searched in the all options, and theres more i cant root him, already try one click root and kingos and no results please help, i cant do anything... :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:
