Hello guys , I was wondering for who are reading this thread could share with us ( XDA GS4 Member ) their tips for better battery life
Im a Crash Rom lover . I've used it since v4 . Love the work so much , thank you crash So far , I've combined Crash Rom & Perseus Kernel , loving this two thing works greatly on my GT-i9500 device . A few weeks before , I flashed Crash Rom v7 (7.2) + Perseus Adonis Alpha v9 + Comadose tweak-pack , the battery seems drain a bit from before this . I got 1 day 5 hours above battery usage + 6 hours screen on time ( Crash Rom v6 + Perseus kernel ) , I got 2 day 4 hours + 6 hours screen on time ( Crash Rom V4 ) . Now its only below 24 hours battery usage + below 5 hours screen on time .
Wondering , are there conflicts between tweak from the rom & tweak from the kernel + tweak from comadose ? Battery drain came from the rom / kernel / comadose tweak-pack ?
Use BetterBatteryStats to see what's using your battery or maybe wakelocks
Kernel Wakelock - PowerManagerService is at 19.8% ?
Partial Wakelock - PhoneWindowManager.mTorchlightWakeLock is at 19.1% ?

Omega rom v 5.2 franco r5 kernel and xle8 modem me getting 6 hours battrey time with continous usage from 99% to 2% also has excellent stand by
can somebody help me please?i ma noob. i flashed the official illusion 2.1 on my nexus 4.does it really drains battery so fast?i flashed it also with matr1x kernel 10 but my problem it that my governor cannot be change.it is stucked with "ondemand"..what should i do?

Switching to another phone, I use sgy as secondary phone, so I was searching a very light rom (and kernel too) to extend at the maximum the battery life and ram usage (so It can be smooth). Now, the battery last only one/two days, without using it, with a 2300mah battery.
Any suggestions?

Soory we cant say about any specific rom or kernel but u better go to galaxy y development section. A no. Of roms as well as kernel are present there. .. Every rom /kernel has its own features. . Choose the one which suits u the best!! ! :laugh:

I`m using custom rom(s) in my S7 Edge(G935FD). After upgrading to Android N form MM, I never use Stock rom. Now I want to use the Stock N rom.
That`s why I need these informations :
1 About the performances and stabilty
2.About the battery lefe
3.Viper - working or not with stock kernel (Essential)
4. Goolge Assistance - working or not (Optional)
And obviously the suggesstions (if any) - should use the stock or stay in the custom rom ? it would be more helpful if you pls specify the build (stock),best for battery life.
BTW, my preference is stable permance with a decent battery life.
Now I`m using the custom rom (DPLT), because of some more battery. As I`ve noticed that the DQB7 is not so good for battery life. Though it has a nice battery when the device is in Idle, but it drains some more battery when the device is in use than DPLT. I`ve tried different custom kernels , but the result remains more or less the same (as I`ve noticed).
Any suggestions will be highly appretiated.
i'm having a hard time using touchwiz on my note 3 n9005 ,it never last for 4-5 hours of usage, i don't know if the rom responsible for my battery drainning or it's just a bad battery if some one had this proplem let me know and how did you solve it , which rom do you recomend for gamming
Flash stock rom replace battery.
