Look up Pete's Motorola root tools 1.06 on the internet. It is for your phone if it has gingerbread (Android 2.3). It rooted my Droid 2 Global from Verizon after I ran it 2 times. First you must download and install the Motorola drivers for your home computer. These are usually available on this page.

Hello Guys, NEWBIE HERE<NEED HELP WITH ROMS AND CARRIER UNLOCK OVERSEAS FOR THE 350T>

Hello Guys, NEWBIE HERE<NEED HELP WITH ROMS AND CARRIER UNLOCK OVERSEAS FOR THE 350T>
So, heres the deal, I'm currently abroad, so I've got no idea of, if I can flash the Global Unlocked version of the Stock UNLOCKED rom for this variant of the GRAND PRIME.
Since it is the tmobile variant I did had my doubts when buying the phone, but I got it Dirt Cheap, either way i'm stranding of path, tried to unlock with preinstalled tmobile app, checked the imei on the tmobile - us database to see if that was the problem, not reported lost or stolen anywhere, so I figured, what if removing the preloaded apps that interfere with region lock of sim card reader locking, might help me?
Therefore, my question PLEASE HELP ME lol, its the only phone I have on me and need to use it here.
Regards.

Verizon note 4 unlocked on Cricket (AT&T) network custom rom

I'm new here but have been following xda for years. I'm not new to rooting or flashing custom roms but after a few days of searching I can't find an answer to the following question.
I have and unlocked Verizon Note 4 n910v running Android 4.4.4 on the Cricket (AT&T) network. If I'm going to install a custom rom, do I need to find a rom for Verizon or for AT&T? Also can anyone clear up the rumor about a locked bootloader on this device? Any help would be awesome!
If you have already unlocked the bootloader on the 910V, I'm not too sure what rumor you are referencing regarding a locked bootloader ::
As far as roms go, it's a Verizon device so you need Verizon roms and firmware.

For ROMs, you must install verizon ROMs because the phone uses verizon-customized hardware.
It is no rumor that this device comes with a locked bootloader. However, thanks to the talented devs here at XDA, there is now an official way to unlock the bootloader; but you have to update to Lollipop 5.1.1 and BPA1 baseband.
I'm using a T-mobile sim in my verizon note 4 without unlocking the bootloader on lollipop and BPA1, so you shouldn't worry about your sim not working after updating. Have fun!
you have a misunderstanding of unlocked. what you are referencing is that you are using the factory unlocked gsm portion of the modem in the verizon model phone. you are NOT bootloader unlocked as you are still on 4.4! if you want to truly unlock it (as in the bootloader) then you will need to upgrade to 5.1.1 (BPA1) via odin. There are several tutorials on how to achieve this, and unlocking (including one that i wrote on the main thread).
to answer your question about using a verizon rom or a t-mobile rom, you can try any snapdragon rom that you would like, but there is NO GUARANTEE that they will work as each developer compiles with or without certain components. what ever you do, do NOT try to flash other carrier (at&t, t-mobile, sprint, etc.) firmware. BIG NO NO! although you claim to have experience with rooting and flashing roms, i would advise you to ALWAYS stick with the carrier variation of whatever device you are working with until you get a better understanding of the different components to a phone i.e. bootloader, modem, rom, etc. xda-university has a nice explanation of these things. so go read up on these things. if you need help, feel free to ask.
Thank you for everyone's advice. Upgrade to lollipop via Odin and bpa1. Got it. As far as custom rom goes, use a Verizon carrier custom rom.

Mpto E4 Boost help deciding whoch custom ROM to flash.

Hi, i need some help deciding which ROM to flash on my new phone.
I want the most vanilla experience possible, the one that resembles stock firmware the most, i have to flash a custom ROM because im not in the US and need to use a GSM carrier.
Been out of the Android loop for several months sicne my two previous phones were bootloader locked and couldnt flash custom ROMs.
I have Moto E4 Virgin from sprint on Dominican Republic and i just pop up a gsm Sim after open the brand new box and just Work On Stock.

Anyway to Flash T-Mobile OnePlus 6T to Stock Oxygen Image?

I recently purchased a T-Mobile OnePlus 6T. When I purchased it I thought it was the unlocked version but it has T-Mobile bloatware apps and when you turn on the device it says T-Mobile. It's unlocked so it works with Cricket but I kind of don't like all the T-Mobile stuff. Is there a way to just flash a factory unlocked ROM and make it look just like a regular unlocked OnePlus 6T?
Short Answer: Google the exact same thing.
Long Answer: in the Guides section, there is a whole thread dedicated to this. Its a good place to get started.
There is a thread on converting it from T-Mobile branding to international model with a hacked Qualcomm Snapdragon processor tool that bypasses the checks. It's also a huge help for when you accidentally brick it.
I have converted mine so I can say that the tool works (currently running a custom ROM).

You could always root your device, then use root explorer to remove or replace the boot animation. Then use magisk and the magisk deblotter module to remove the offending apps.
