[4.3] TWRP Recovery not saving - Nexus 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After going into fastboot and flashing TWRP, after reboot and go back into fastboot and to recovery, it then cycles to Google logo then "No command." is shown.
I tried flashing TWRP then going straight to recovery without reboot, Teamwin logo appears then it after a while it goes to Google logo and boots into Android.
How can I get this to work?

Device Boot Looping/Soft Brick

I decided to unlock the bootloader so that i could flash TWRP recovery but after unlocking the bootloader on my device, it has been stuck on the logo screen with "powered by android" under it. I have tried using fastboot to clear userdata & cache but that just leads to my phone again being stuck on the logo screen. The device also can't boot into recovery. When I chose to power off in fastboot it causes me to be stuck on the logo screen. Any help is appreciated I am on android oreo btw
Did you try a back to stock zip? go to fastboot and run flash-all.bat, while your device is plugged in ofcourse.

Let me guess.
You unlocked the boot loader and flashed TWRP and now you are looping, right?
There is no compatible TWRP that is compatible with Oreo on this phone.
You cannot leave TWRP installed. You can only install it along enough to get the recovery to boot.
You then must flash the stock boot image.
I had this problem tonight also. In my case I suspect it had to do with the install of magisk in which I checked both boxes and patched the bootloader. on reboot I was stuck on boot. Just wanted to add my solution. I got the pie back to stock zip here https://forum.xda-developers.com/essential-phone/development/stock-7-1-1-nmj20d-t3701681 then I put it into the adb folder and ran the flashall.bat script. I tried the no wipe one and it saved my information. very happy I didnt have to resetup my phone in the end.
did you remember to flash a stock boot.img before flashing magisk (to clear TWRP?)

Stuck at Asus logo during boot

So I was installing magisk with the help of twrp, but I was having a difficult time finding the magisk zip in twrp. Had rebooted the device and booted to fastboot and recovery mode for around for more than 30 times. Now, this is the situation of my device: its right now switched off. I can enter the twrp, i can access the fastboot mode but if I try to normally switch it on, the boot is stuck at the Asus logo. Nothing happens after it. From the Asus logo, i am able to swtich it off and move to fastboot and twrp. Help me please.
Maybe flash decrypt zip ?
Try this. go back to twrp, abd instead of reboot phone, press power off. then press power on button manually. Works everytime for me

[Fixed] Stuck on TWRP logo, can reboot only to recovery or bootloader

Hi, I installed Reurrection Remix, this recovery TWRP 3.2.1-0 by Pretoriano80: I wanted to make a twrp backup so I pressed restart -> recovery, the phone is stuck on the TWRP logo, and only reboots to recovery to get stuck again. It is possible to go to bootloader, I tried fastboot reboot but it reboots to recovery only and can't be turned off.
What should I do?

Twrp logo stuck and Lineage logo bootloop

Yesterday i tried Lineage rom and when i tried to switch back to other Rom and goto Recovery Mode,it just goes with Lineage Recovery Mode that i cannot switch to TWRP again,so i did ADB and flashed TWRP again, but this time after flashing twrp i did (fastboot erase cache) after that ( fastboot reboot recovery ) Indeed it reboot into twrp Recovery ,but Stuck there at with logo, even if booting up, also Stuck at Lineage Logo.
Now ADB didn't recognize with Fastboot mode, only Recognize in Recovery Mode, but with Recovery mode Adb command doesn't work anythings....
Hopes for Experts helps from here Thanks.

[HELP] Can't Boot Into Any Recovery

Hello,
Previously I had flashed LineageOS v18 which had few bugs.
Then I flashed Android 10 official beta downloaded from Asus site (UL-ASUS_X00P-WW-AOSP-17.00.2003.23-user.zip).
Now I want to go back to another custom ROM but I am unable to boot into any recovery - stock recovery as well as TWRP.
- I have confirmed the bootloader is unlocked.
- Can't boot into stock recovery. Phone directly boots into OS.
- Tried "installing" TWRP in fastboot mode (fastboot flash recovery.img). Installation goes fine but when I reboot, the phone boots straight to OS instead of going into recovery.
- Tried "booting" TWRP in fastboot mode (fastboot boot recovery.img). Installation goes fine but when I reboot, the phone boots straight to OS instead of going into recovery.
- Tried both methods for booting into recovery (pressing the buttons as well as giving a command via fastboot).
Questions:
1. How can I boot into recovery?
2. If I can't boot into recovery, what can I do to flash a custom ROM?
