Hello,
I wanted to update my Note to official german ICS (N7000XXLPY) using Odin. After going through th whole process:
extracting, wiping, putting in download mode, chosing N7000XXLPY in PDA and starting, it took some 5 to 8 minutes until odin finished with
"REMOVED!" and the phone restarted with new ICS boot animation.
Now it's stucked on SAMSUNG logo. I've tried to reboot a few times but nothing changes. ANy help would be apreciated.
Thanks,
BruXav
ps: the rookie I am forgot to enable debug mode before going through this :-(

Flash stock ROM via Odin. Actually, you can't post questions in General Section.

When you are touching the android app,you have to wait for some time....cause it works sometime slower.
And I think when you are changing the system apps or app,you had backed up your stock rom,so just restore the backup from recovery and reboot your phone...
If you have not backed up your stock rom, then flash stockrom via odin.
 DON'T FOGET TO PRESS THANKS IF I HAVE A BIT SUCCESS TO HELPING YOU

It happens to me too... I usually cancel download and again try... If it doesn't work the third time ... Then i press download and restart my mobile... On completion of boot it usually starts downloading......
One more possibility is when play store is updating in background..(rare but still it does happen)
Solution
If you are facing network error while downloading an application, just switch to airplane mode and again get back to the same mode.
Also as you are using a custom ROM, there might be some issues with it. You can reflash gapps(google apps) and try to download again. If you still can't get access, flash stock ROM via Odin.

Help needed please. I am on stock rooted ROM, and phone has started randomly rebooting during the day, often leading to a big battery loss. I've tried factory reset ; clear cache; and 2 other stock ROM, but it still does the same. Any help or suggestions please?

1. Factory reset your phone.
2. Make a backup of your data and Wipe all in Custom Recovery (this will delete all your data!! CAUTION!!!).
3. Reflash the firmware. In your case: HERE
this is for the black edition, which I have flashed already. Where is the firmware for UK unbranded please? This was what I had originally..
What do you mean also by
