Does your device not have a forum yet? Some do and some don't. Anyways, I made a group to discuss your device that's more setback from the rest of the xda as a whole. I haven't started any discussions there, but I hope it will get used unlike most of the other groups available.
Social Group - WP8 Owners
Also....
Here's the page to request your device, but its mostly android devices, so we will need a significant number of users to post there, otherwise it will sink pages below and possibly not be seen.

Okay, I'm making sections for the 1520, because that thread is essentially becoming a black hole for the admins.
Oke, i wil keep an eye on this one.
Wil drop in from time to time.
Click the link on the op and click on join.

Okay, I'll probably bump this the last time or ask a mod to sticky this thread while locking it. I've invited a few users over to use it. Its a good way for device specific chat while not relying on the Admins to add the device forums, which could never be added at this rate....
Where's my device?
I've just moved from Lumia 900 to Lumia 1520..
but xda only knows Lumia 1020..
where's mine?
Thanks:good:

This thread will serve for all discussions of windows blue. Everybody hoped for at least a gap of 3 years for a new operating system from Microsoft, but well, here's a leak that we saw.
Discussion:
1. Is this an entirely new OS? Or just a service pack upgrade on the existing windows 8?
2.more importantly, will this be a free upgrade to the existing customers? Chances are high since its not been long since Windows 8 gas been released to the general public.
3. Any links for extra info/videos/leaks. Post here!
Personally I am very excited about it. What are your views?

Mod Edit by @Darth : Asking for donations with the promise of development after, and asking members to donate to get devices/equipment, is not allowed on the site. Thread closed.
Well this is awkward,i really hope someone can get you started, butt if you feel the need to develop things there are cheap handsets out there

Hi. I am an android contributor, especially developing PC tools (See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-x2/development/05-06-adv-nokia-x2-tool-v1-60-root-t3127802)
Its main goal will be installing apk files over adb and controlling device by adb magic. (changing imei etc...)
I am ready for developing enhanced PC Tools for Windows 10 Mobile OS.
But I need a Lumia device. (Currently using Nokia X2)
I am living in Turkey and I need a Windows 10 Mobile Dev Edition installable lumia device for starting development.
Can anyone donate me it? I prefer a Turkish donator. I will re-send device after finising tool.
Other donations should be money (You cant transfer a mobile device to Turkey)
I am waiting your helps, thanks.

Re: Regarding the XDA community and Honor 8 partnership
Hi there,
I can give you an explanation for everything. Can you please post it so everyone can see? Here it is:
Quote:
Hi everyone! I just wanted to give you an update on Honor and the release of their kernel source, as well as our efforts to encourage development on Honor devices on XDA.
We started working with them in August 2016. One of the stipulations of our partnership was that they make kernel source available, to encourage development.
By October, they had released kernel source for the Honor 8. As a result, we had healthy development with early builds of CyanogenMod (now LineageOS, of course), as well as RR, working TWRP, and more. This was thanks in large part to a small team of Honor developers we assembled, comprised of @surdu_petru, @XePeleato, and @hackslash. This team also submitted to me a request to Honor to fill in some missing spots in their kernel source release, specifically the Trustzone driver, and precompiled libraries compatible with AOSP. Around that time, our partnership with Honor was ending.
Since early 2017, all kernel source has disappeared from Huawei's website, much to our disappointment, and yours. We are in contact with Honor, and soon to renew our agreement, and they claim that kernel source will be back online by the end of May. Since Huawei is such a big company and things are very slow, it might take longer than that. Also, we're not sure if they will re-release the MM kernel source, or that for Nougat. We are awaiting their answer but we are heavily pushing them to do what the community wants.
We made significant progress with Honor in 2H 2016 thanks to our agreement, and we hope that starting in June, we will resume this progress with the goal of opening up Honor devices, including the new Honor 8 Pro, so that developers have what they need and users can enjoy customization of their devices.
Please PM me anytime with any questions or concerns.

But a big number of us are just disappointed with the
Huawei Honor 8 agreement between Huawei and XDA community
to give us not just better support but also the source code..
I am here not as a developer couse I am not one
I am here couse I want to speak in the name of
all Honor 8 users ( allmost all of us are disappointed )
with someone from the XDA community
I want that someone form the XDA community who can and is willing to
give me ( over the mail ) some answer or to all of us in the forum of Honor 8
if Huawei and XDA community agreement is just some kind of a lie..
And if not when will we get what is promised to us.. give us some timeline or something..
Please give us something, or do something for what is promised to us
Couse many Honor 8 users are thinking that this is just some sort of a lie
And they are very disappointed and thinking that never will be anything happening
I thing they are so much disappointed that they lost evan the will to ask you on XDA community and are thinking that it is just some sort of a lie
for what is said and promised.. but I am one of the optimist and I am still saying that
the best is yet to come
Hope for some answer and that we still will be getting the support that is promised
And I am hoping not to get disappointed too like many already are
Please give me as soon as possible some answer from either Huawei ( by contacting them as XDA community becouse of the agreement you guys had made for us ) or either some answer just
from the XDA community if you happen to know anything about the things that are promised
by that agreement if and when they will happen..
Thanks for taking your time and reading this
Best regards

Hi Folks,
Please find the link to Google form for requesting Honor/Huawei meet up for your city within India.
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfj7rCdAZpexSBhJv1WMogNz7r7i-CRO_xMAThl9wm_CwMrgQ/viewform
OR
Google Form
This is limited to Indian users as of now but you never know when they plan to schedule such meet ups in your country.
Currently, they are running this program for Honor 6X and Honor 8 Pro but there are options for other variants as well (other variants are available in drop down menu) and you can select the same, who knows, Honor/Huawei plan for other variants also based on overwhelming response from users.
Meetup completed at
Chennai,
Mumbai,
Bangalore,
Delhi,
Hyderbad.
Good luck.

Yeah but for other devices. If someone owns a 5C, they may not be looking at 6X section, right
So posted here so that 5C users can get benefits of this. Eventually, this will benefit all the 5c and other owners as the discussion during meet up is closely communicated to R&D so all will be benefitted.

Hello Microsoft fans,
I've tried the Microsoft experience for a while and more so, I did it with the best (in my opinion) device frrom this ecosystem, the Lumia 950. I've made a video review where I also shared my thoughts on the device and on the platform too. The video link is below:

Enjoy and thanks for watching!
