Can anyone help me with changing my nexus 4 lockscreen camera widget to another app? (I' Don't like the default camera app, thus i am using procapture)
Anyone got any solution?
I disabled the widgets in LockScreen due to too many accidental swipes before unlocking.
When you swipe to the right on the lockscreen, and choose the camera, doesnt it ask you with what application it should open?
It doing that on my phone, and i could choose another camera app to open when activating the widget on the lockscreen.

Im using the lockscreen policy app currently as I dont want instant access to my camera or other widgets, however I do want to use the dashclock widget and nothing else ?
is there any way to limit my phone to just this widget other than the default lockscreen widget when using the lock screen policy app ?
Hey,
I am running stock 4.2.2 with nova prime launcher.
I use the DashClock on my home screen and gestures for my three main uses
( Swipe down to expand notifications, Swipe up for GoogleNow and Double Tap for App Drawer.)
As my DashClock takes up the full screen the Widget blocks gestures from working. Is it possible to have gestures still work 100% Over this widget?
Second question is with LightFlow (Purchased) quite often the light is flashing with no notifactions present. So i normally do a search through the common apps i use to check for notifications to dismiss lightflow. But now and then i can't locate what the notification is.
What is the best way around this? Or is this just lightflow?
Thanks
I believe that 4.2.2 had lock screen widgets ... How on earth do I get them to work
I believe bbc news is one of the widgets bit I've tried every which way I can to get out to work
Please help

You can't use some lock screen widgets if you have a security lock screen thanks to Samsung being weird and annoying. Plus they removed the quick launch camera lock screen with their silly app matrix.
If you just use the slide to unlock feature then slide your finger from the top down and then left or right and you'll have the option of adding more.
You first have to enable them in the settings. Also you can enable quick camera instead of using the app matrix, you'll find that in the same place.... Main settings---> lockscreen ---> check the multiple widgets box. Tap the next box down to configure the quick launch camera as default instead of the app matrix should you choose.
Not sure if this was addressed already but is there ANY way, even if the device needs to be rooted, for the camera or apps to be accessible through lockscreen without having to unlock similar to IOS?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

You can download this right here and have the iOS 7 lock screen which you can set up the camera up to it. Also if you don't put a pass code on your phone you can have widgets on it and you can pull your camera up from there as well.

Can't you just setup a PIN in your phone then enable the Camera to appear as a Lock Screen Widget from your lockscreen?

if you setup a PIN to unlock you phone you can't have a lockscreen widget besides the clock, but if you set just swipe to unlock, you can add more widgets to your lockscreen ( if you enable multiple lockscreen widgets on settings->lockscreen). Just swipe down when you're on lockscreen and then swipe from left to right to add more widgets

But will this give me access to the camera without first unlocking my phone?
This seems to be a big problem with the S4
I use widget locker. It will give you what you're looking for and worth every penny.

yes, it will
I've heard that you can access a settings panel on the lockscreen to save the current wallpaper and ect by gently dragging up. But I cannot get it to work on the latest OTA rom.
Did ZTE take out the lockscreen settings panel thing? Or am I not trying to activate it correctly?
If you want to save the wallpaper on lockscreen. Use the 3 finger pinch to capture screen.... Or GOTO lock settings and see wallpapers for today and get them from there

Activate the bell on the lock screen then swipe up at the bottom and you will get the menu
I don't have the lock screen options anymore either. I remember it used to be on lockscreen itself. I think adding fingerprint unlock and pattern to unlock removed it somehow. Or possibly Nova
It's something else. I have Fingerprint Lock as well as Nova launcher but still see the Wallpaper options while swiping up.

I don't know. I'm on b29. No root. Just nova launcher beta with fingerprint gestures app. I've tried going back to stock theme as default and disabling fingerprint. I get the lock symbol, no option for lockscreen menu. With fingerprint enabled I have the fingerprint symbol in place of the lock symbol. I've even tried disabling the bell altogether
