Since this week end, my local songs are not visible in Google play music app...
I try POWERAMP music app, and my music appears !
I flashed latest google factory image of 4.3, install TWRP and flash a custom ROM (PA and RASBEAN), but again, no music in google play music app...
WTF going on ?

I've a problem with Google Play Music app. It works fine on CM9, but I couldn't get it working properly on any other ROM.
The problem: after install and first startup of app, it starts syncing online Music, but after a while the phone gets very slow, and freezes.
What I already tried:
-install from Market
-push .apk to system/apps, setting permissions
-delete app data
but none of the methods worked...
I tried this on many roms, including CM7.2, CM7.1, MS2Ginger, and now on GGL rom, but the result is allways the same...
Please if you got any idea why it's not working, share it with me, because I'm out of ideas

by the way, I'm on Cm9 quarx 0509 and since I went to cm9, music players stoped searching and showing lyrics. I used to like a lot that feature. wonder if there's a good app for playing music with this feature.
Hi guys. Recently I revert my firmware to 4.2.2, then I root my phone using ioroot, install CWM, and flash dorimanx kernel 2.9. Now stock music player does not produce any sound while playing Hi Fi sound (the Life is good song) but still performing well on mp3. Anyone have same problem ? One more thing, how to make my new music folder indexed on stock music player ? It can detect my music but not showing my folder on the folder tab. Thank you.
note:It appears that all music player cannot play Hi Fi (flac) sound. Kernel issue ?
reboot, or open the file via file manager, usually that does the trick.

I am on stock 6.0.1 ROM rooted and unlocked bootloader. I downgraded from custom rom 7.1.
I noticed that i am unable to send photos from any gallary to whatsapp/instagram/messenger . nor i can play songs from any music player.
But if i try to play songs using default file manager they are played without any problem.
I dont know whats the issue :/
Hello,I have 2 questions about music player in stock marshmallow rom. 1: is there any way to add custom album art in stock music player (I tried all play store apps and they dont work) 2: is there a way to enable lock screen musiic controls for third party players like phonograph ( I am rooted with TWRP installed) .
