Hi there. This is my first post, sorry if my english is not that good.
Is there a way to put the menu "button" like in the Eclipse Rom? Any modification or any patch?
Like that but without the search button.
Thanks.

On stock ROM - the answer is No (or if anyone will be able to patch stock SystemUI.apk to add legacy menu button). But you could flash CyanogenMod 10.1 or 10, or any other ROM based on CM. They all have NavBar settings.

Yep. You shouldn't need it anyways, as modern apps have an in-app menu, and it appears automatically for legacy apps

Thanks! I managed to put the menu button in the Configuration menu. The new DroidVPN app doesnt have a menu button anywhere perhaps. Thats why i wanted to put the menu button in the device. Thank you!

There is an app that could do this, well by just tapping the proximity sensor twice or trice, download the "Tap Tap App" on Playstore
I tried it and it waste to much battery, almost in my s4.

Tap tap app not working good in sgs4. Maybe the proximity sensor is the problem

Hi, just a little question. There is any rom for galaxy y with an ICS style, and with the multitask of ICS (you can slide to close an app)?
Thanks
swipe to kill is not possible in gingerbread framework
there are themed roms in the dev section
why dont you look through the dev section and see what you like
suggesting best roms to do xyz is against xda rules
Are you sure ? Because I have already installed a rom who could do the swipe to kill, but I forgot his name

yes I am sure
you can swipe to remove in gingerbread which is swipe a notification to remove it from the status bar expanded
you cannot swipe to kill - which is swipe an app from the task manager to close it
you can get apps which can do it but you can not included it in the gingerbread framework itself
Okay thanks, do you know an apps for this plz ?

-Flash CM 7.2 and then install "ICS task manager "from play .
-and then put up that app on long press of home button from settings
And you will be having an ICS like task manager
I suggest you installing Evo-x4 by b16h22. Smooth ROM, stable and highly customisable. You can then install ICS Task Manager from Google Play.

P.S. I think I found how to do it!!!
