Bluetooth earpiece - Oppo Find 5

Anyone can suggest a good and fully compatible bluetooth earpiece?
Thanks,
Andrea

I haven't used an earpiece in a long time so I'm not up to date with the latest and greatest. I know Jawbone is like the Beats by Dre for Bluetooth earpiece, but the new ones look nice..a bit pricey though. And I don't see why they wouldn't work.

Music through bluetooth terrible

Anyone know how to get the Bluetooth settings from android 4.1 put into android 4.2? I've seen people talking about stacks and what not but have no idea what they are talking about. It is actually an open issue in 4.2 that has been assigned. See thread.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am an audiophile and Bluetooth sounds fine.
In my car I have a Bose stereo. cymbal splashes, vocals, or anything high frequency sounds very tinny. or the best way to describe it would be like crinkling a potato chip bag during those high frequency parts. It isn't obnoxiously bad, but definitely bad enough to know something is not right. Didn't have problems on my galaxy nexus till it updated to 4.2, it sounded great. Then when nexus 4 came and I fired it up it thinking it would be better it sounded identical to the galaxy nexus post upgrade. The headphone jack sounds great though, it just seems to be affecting Bluetooth.

Bluetooth audio sounds fine to me as well. I'm using the LG HBS-700 A2DP headset.
I do find it to be less noticeable when using play music, or music on my phone. Still there, but not as bad. If I use slacker or Pandora, it's a train wreck. I know I'm not crazy cause I reverted my galaxy nexus back to 4.1.2 and it was fine again. I can use an aux cable but that defeats the purpose of having Bluetooth in my car. And I can't revert my nexus 4 to 4.1

About earphone wth Mic.Can it work perfectly with Nexus4

I have a plan to buy new pair earphone with mic.But I'm not sure about the nexus can work compatible with earphones with mic. Now I consider to get nuforce ne 700m or beyerdynamic mmx 101 ie which I'm not sure it can wok with nexus 4. Who have ever used these for nexus4? If not, can you recommend the earphones with mic work perfectly with nexus 4.

Why don't you try them first and let us know?
The only earphones with mic I've tried were the Samsung ones that came with my note 2 and s3, the mic works. The one which came with one x also works so i guess any headphone with a mic might work too (not sure though, okay?)

Lose the overrated headphones and get something cheaper and better!
I heard that have an app that fixes the problem.
Is that true?
Go to the play store and do a search for eq apps, play around with the settings until your happy with the sound and also try out your ear buds you got with the iPhone and see how they sound.
I've found the nexus 4 to be quite flat in terms of eq and that's a good thing in my opinion.

Gross...beats are terrible headphones - if your gonna spend hundreds of dollars on a pair of headphones than get some real studio headphones...dont beleive me beats are bad...look at any top 10 pair if headphone list...you will never find a pair of beats there...just some advice from an audiophile..only people who think beats are good are those who have never actually listened to a quality pair of headphones

To the op...there are beats mods for most headphones...in time im sure there will be for the s4 as well

I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE.
I have a pair of ATH-M50s and these things are a beast!
So that being said, my PC, macbook, and iPhone 4S, before I traded it in for this, are really loud. The GS4 doesn't go loud as it should. I used poweramp as the music player, but it's a hideous music player and clogs up the screen.
Really upsetting that Samsung limits the volume for us to hear. Hopefully someone has a fix for this or something?

Seriously?? You think the volume is low?? I think the volume through both speakers and headphones is quite high and a lot clearer than my previous phone, an HTC Vivid, which utilizes "Beats" audio.
But I do believe that Beats on the Vivid was simply a software modification of the sound like an EQ adjustment, rather than anything like a hardware change.
And just for reference, I use a pair of Denon AH-D1100 headphones quite frequently.

Thanks, don't know how I missed the post above mine. Oh well. Patiently wait I suppose. What is a good sound mod that will also boost volume? I am using PowerAmp, but some of my albums are not very loud, and generally running 320kbps.
I like noozxiode

On the newer htc phones beats is more than an eq setting. They have built in amps now for both the speakers and the headset jack.
I've honestly used all of the eq settings on most of my devices but it never compared to actual stock beats settings or how great voodoo sound was for older Samsung devices as well as the og Asus transformer.

The DSP manager in Cyanogenmod worked well for me. I have no desire to own anything that says beats. Just waiting for Dan to release his secret unlock. I use bose qc3's, they're no seinhesier's or AT's but they get the job done.

New Nexus 7 Sound Chip

On my original Nexus 7, the sound chip is very bad, at max volume the sound isn't even medium loud on my headphones.
I use PowerAMP with bass boost and treble boost on (I listen to electro mainly.) How does the new Nexus 7 compare?
Also, can someone compare the new Nexus 7 to S III in sound quality on headphones? Mainly how long each can go? The old nexus is terrible compared to SIII.
The new sound chip is really really good. Like really good. I use similar headphones comfortabley at about 25-35% volume, Clarity is great, good DAC.
i agree as well. i like the new sound chip as i listen to trance. and to add the new speakers and layout work better as well

As stated in the thread you linked, this does not affect headphone output, only the speakers on the tablet's output so it's not entirely relevant to the OP's question.

I'm finding its close to my HTC One coming through the headphones. Won't go quite as loud and clear but it definitely has impressed me. By far better than the first gen nexus 7!
Is the sound good because it's good? Or is the sound good because of how crappy the OG nexus was? The sound is the only thing I hate. Headphones and speakers. Makes me wonder if mine is defective. Or maybe I shouldn't expect more from a budget tablet. Would love to see more opinions.

I find the sound quality through the headphone jack is just average. Kind of muddy to be honest. I thought the original nexus 7 had a better DAC than this new one. Speaker sound is of course better than the original

Don't have it on mine, but I do have a little dust on the upper left corner.
About the topic, I use my own custom made earphones, with superb bass, with AwesomeBeats mod. Works like a charm, though ViperFX also improves sound quality, I'm comfy with AwesomeBeats because its simple. Try any audio mod(requires rooting).

What devices do you have? I will do some comparisons if I have any of the same devices that you have. I have a Note 2, Evo LTE, Evo 3D, Asus Infinity, 4th gen iPod Touch, and an iPhone 4.
Just so everyone knows, the iPhone 4 was free, I'd never buy an iPhone! I just use it as an iPod (never been activated by me). I did buy the iPod Touch when it was released though......SMH......
