How to set a current theme --Build.prop-- - Wildfire General

Hey guys I've just re edited the thread, feels like it's already dead but still edited
This is what Wasimk32 himself told me to do
Just add this in the current build.prop file
1. open up the ROM zip file
2. go to system
3. open up build.prop
add this onto your build.prop
persist.sys.themeId='theme name"
persist.sys.themePackageName="theme package name"
What's the theme name?
Theme package name?
Theme package name can be found when it's been extracted, go to the xml and look for the package name, simply just copy & paste... simple? isn't it? ok -.-
Thanks Wasim!

Yes, the SDK Dump of ICS does have SystemUI.apk (Odexed) and Framework-res.apk. You can find the entire image here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18547788

+100 To you sir. Sorry kassus but you are getting more anoying every single day, necroing old thread's that are abandoned and asking questions like "Is it still in development" when it's obviuosly NOT. Continuing discontinued roms and adding nothing just your name to it -.- . You in my opinion are more anoying than melvichng!

Well i followed another tutorial on the same thing which was clearer and following that tutorial you could also see if it works.
It rewinds back to the default value, 200 and 500 even after the tweak and after editting files manually.
This tweak is from knzo..

Decompile Settings.apk. Go to res/layouts/. Here, one of the XMLs represent the 'about phone' screen. Open it. One of the "TextViews" will be the author's name and you can edit it.

In the XML file, it's like this under a particular TextView:-
android:text="@string/xxx"
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
So you can either find the string in strings.xml knowing its name and edit it (your way) or you can directly write the desired text between the ".."
