Is that possible to have a mod to launch the camera when the phone is held in the vertical in landscape mode or with a special move when in sleep ?

I noticed yesterday while out shooting some jumps/dumps on dirt bikes the camera.apk does an odd thing:
It shoots video in portrait mode. It seems like if the camera is used in portrait mode, then switch to VIDEO recording, it continues to shoot in portrait.
Is there any way to select video recording to only be shot in landscape ?

I want to be able to set a picture in portrait mode as my wallpaper without it turning into landscape mode. I see there is an option that lets the wallpaper not move when I switch screens but even after doing that, the picture is still only able to be set as landscape. (It's a picture from my gallery) I want the full picture on the screen without having to move screens or anything

As you can see in the screenshot I have pie and immersive mode on. But every time I swipe from the bottom the standard android buttons appear because of the immersive mode. I would rather like this wouldn't happen. Perhaps there is a true expanded mode like 4.3
